"I kind of figured that out based on the look on your face when I said it was a history documentary." Malik laughs. "But not all documentaries are boring. I made sure I picked one I thought would keep everyone's attention."

"Well, thank you for that." The door opens behind us, and I turn around to find Jackson standing in the doorway. "And that was perfectly timed as it looks like my next date has arrived."

I let him know about the group dates this week and also let him know I'd like to try to squeeze out some time just for the two of us which makes him smile. I brush my lips over his before we head off to join Jackson.

For the rest of the day, we do so many different things. Each date that has been planned is different and enjoyable in its own way. Jackson chose to read to us from a smutty book he's been reading. It definitely had me and Chase perfuming, my legs clamped together as I fought to keep myself from climbing on top of Chase. Not exactly what one is supposed to do while on a date with someone else.

I'm still worked up when we join Ulf for ax throwing outside. Luckily, everyone chooses not to mention my arousal that's following me around. It turns out, I really suck at ax throwing, but it's so much fun. By the time we're done, I've finally stopped perfuming, and I've improved slightly.

Liam surprises me when he brings us into the kitchen to bake together. Somehow, we manage to bake cookies, brownies, and some mini donut muffins that are to die for before our hour is up. I make Liam promise to save me some of the muffins, and he agrees—for a price. But I'm totally willing to pay the price of a kiss. Only this isn't a chaste kiss like I'd given each of the other suitors today.

No, he pins me to the counter and devours me as his hard cock presses against my stomach. And yes, I definitely start perfuming—as does Chase. When Liam finally pulls away, I feel drunk on his kiss. He hands me and Chase a muffin each before sending us on our way to join Jace. Jace just laughs at my dazed look, telling us to eat our muffins quickly.

Somehow I manage to do just that as Jace leads us outside. When I see a motorcycle in the driveway, I squeal. I've never ridden a motorcycle before, but I've always wanted to. Jace grins at that and has me climb on behind him so we can ride around the driveway. Then he takes Chase, but Brody declines. After that, he teaches us how to ride on our own. It's thrilling, and I know I want to do it again. Before we can head off with Foster, Jace presses me to the bike and kisses the shit out of me.

Once again, I head off to a date in a haze. Foster spends his date giving me and Chase massages with help from Brody. By the time we head off with Carson, I'm practically a puddle. I'm relaxed and so happy that I don't know how anyone can top the dates I've been on already.

But Carson, being Carson, has to make sure his date is the best. My eyes light up when we step outside and find an area that has been fenced off. It's been fenced off because it's filled with dogs—there are puppies and adult dogs. When I throw myself among them, they quickly show their appreciation with kisses. Carson explains that they're from a local no-kill shelter and they regularly need volunteers to play with the animals while they wait to be adopted. They'd jumped at the chance to bring the dogs out. They'll be given the run of the area, the gates will be opened so they can run around for hours in the larger area that's been fenced off.

While I'm playing with the dogs, I notice one of the dogs keeps getting pushed to the outside by the bigger dogs. I push through the crowd of puppies until I scoop the baby up in my arms. Taking a quick peek, I realize it's a girl, and if I'm not mistaken, she's a corgi. She's still young, not quite full grown I don't think. But the moment she meets my eyes, I fall absolutely in love with her. I have to have her.

"This one is mine. How do I adopt her?" I ask as I turn around.

Chase just blinks at me for a moment before shaking himself. "The owner is right over here. Let's go talk with her."

Ten minutes later, I have an agreement with the woman. Since I don't have access to the internet or any money at the moment, she agrees to hold the puppy—it turns out she's only about eight months old—for me until after my heat. The price of that? Besides agreeing to come visit at least once a week, I tell her I'm interested in possibly adopting more. I've always wanted to have pets, but with my job it's hard. But soon I'll have a pack who can help me care for them, and I'll be able to stop working such long hours once I'm made a partner.

I also agree to spread the word about the shelter once we're back on social media, and that's easy to agree to. The owner is a sweet older woman, and it's obvious just how much she loves the dogs under her care. If I can do anything to help more of these dogs get adopted, I'll do it.

"I hear we now have a dog," Brody says a little later as he stops beside me.

I grimace. "Yeah, sorry? I guess we should've discussed that."

He laughs. "You think I'm going to argue about getting a dog? With the way my shifts work, I can't have one on my own, but with the pack you're putting together? We'll have no problems taking care of her. Plus, she's super cute. Have you decided what to name her?"

"They've been calling her Trixie and I kind of love that. I think I'm going to stick with it."

"I like it. It suits her."

Both of us grin as we watch Chase and Carson playing with Trixie, and it's like something clicks into place inside me. She is meant to be ours, just like those two men are meant to be mine.

Fuck. No, I can't claim Carson without also claiming the rest of Pack Lewitt, and I'm just not there yet.

When Asher arrives to take us to the next date, it's hard to pull us away from the dogs. Carson steals a soul-wrenching kiss from me, giving me another reason not to leave. But Asher manages to get his pack mates under control, and what can I do but follow them as we head for the kitchen? Apparently, we're cooking dinner for the masses tonight. The following hour will be spent eating the food we've slaved over.

We make a massive amount of lasagna and baked penne pasta. Plus salad and some cheesy pesto bread. It tastes amazing, and I'm proud to have helped make the meal that receives so much praise. Who knew I'd like that? I think I'll like occasionally cooking for my pack after we leave here.

Asher hands us off to Ezra with a kiss to the top of mine and Chase's heads. Ezra has a whole wine tasting set up, and it's fun getting to taste the different kinds of wine. It turns out I really love prosecco. I'd never even had it before tonight. Once our time is up, Ezra is really sweet and asks if he can kiss both me and Chase. Of course we say yes, and it's a nice kiss. I feel warm as we follow Gage.

I laugh when I see what Gage has set up for us. Apparently, we're playing poker. We end up betting kisses, which is fun, and we have a blast before we head off to do karaoke with Brooks. The others join us after our hour is over, and we spend the rest of the night drinking and singing.

It's been a perfect day, and I wish more days could be like this. Now I just need to choose who will be joining me for each day of group dates. There are certain suitors I know I want to group together, but that's a problem for the morning. I just hope they don't mind being told at breakfast who will be joining me. I'm just a little too tipsy to focus on that right now.

And when I start to push beyond being tipsy, I let Brody and Chase lead me to my room so we can spend the night together. Because this girl is definitely getting laid tonight.
