Causing arousal to refire through my body.
He grabbed my towel up from the floor, laughing as he wrapped it around his waist. “Do you think it’s obvious?”
I burst into a fit of giggles as he gestured to the tent his dick was making in the towel. “Will you please just go?” I shooed him toward the door, and he continued laughing, slipping out into the dark hallway.
Shifting slightly on the bed, I was already missing him, aching to feel him inside of me.
Come on.
I laid back, my hand running down the silky skin of my stomach. My eyes darted to the window, seeing that the light was gone, and if it weren’t for the candle burning in the corner of the room, it would be pitch black. The creak of the door caused me to pause, Wade reappearing.
“Did you miss me?” he asked, tossing the towel to the floor and stretching the rubber over himself. “Because I sure as hell missed you.”
“Come get me,” I purred, propping up and taking in the full profile of Wade. The flickering of the candlelight cast shadows across his face as he climbed in between my legs, positioning himself at my entrance.
He teased me for a moment, brushing across my wet folds. It made me quiver with excitement, heightening the anticipation of just how good I knew he would feel. I scooted toward him, trying to put myself on him, and he let out a satisfied grunt at my actions.
“Fuck me, Wade. Come on,” I begged, my voice coming out in a seductive whine. “Just fuck me.”
“You’re gonna make me blow before I ever get in you,” he groaned just before grabbing my hip and forcefully filling me with all of him.
“Ohgod,” I cried out, pleasure erupting through my body. “Just like that.”
Wade let out a growl above me, picking up his pace and slamming his hips into mine. “You’re so good, Chey—sofuckinggood.”
I grabbed for him, pulling his mouth to mine. I moaned, as his hips continued to collide with mine and our tongues clashed in a messy, hot kiss. My fingernails dug into his back as I felt his body grow tense against mine. A low guttural groan escaped from his mouth to mine, and his hips stuttered, slamming into mine one last time. He released, holding onto me with a firm grip.
“Fuck, this is always so good.” Wade let out a heavy sigh, rolling off to the side of me. “I don’t know why it’s alwayssoamazing.”
“Because I am amazing,” I teased, propping myself up on my elbow and grabbing for the throw blanket that was folding on the other side of his head. He pulled me into his arms as I leaned over him, grabbing the blanket and spreading it over us.
“That turned the day around, for sure.”
“Because of the loose cattle?” I asked, snuggling against his chest.
He hesitated, before gazing down at me. “Yeah, that and Bear fell on Hazel. They’re both fine—just a little beat up, but those floodwaters are getting too close for comfort. If it keeps raining, the horse pasture is going to be flooded, and we’re running out of higher ground.”
My heart sank. “I’m so sorry. Maybe the rain will let up soon.”
He nodded. “Yeah, I hope so.”
Me, too...
Except then I’ll have to leave.

Wade
“Idon’t know when the electricity will be back on, but we don’t have enough battery life to keep this up,” Dad grunted, leaning against the kitchen counter. “There’s got to be something they can do to speed this along.”
“Well, it’s not common for there to be rains like this, either.” Mom eyed him, packing the last of the sandwiches into the bag for me to stash on Cheyenne and I’s ride. “I just think we ought to extend a little bit of grace. I know the rains have let up for a couple of days, but we can’t even get out of here now that the main drive has been flooded.”
“You could buy a boat,” Hazel suggested, popping a grape into her mouth.
“Bob is getting the skid steer out to work on getting that area drained in case we need to go to town.” I pointed out, having already spoken to him that morning. “I’m not sure that it matters, though. Blake said the entire town is still out of power, too.”
“What the hell is taking them all so long?” Dad exasperated, just as Cheyenne stepped into the kitchen, Takoda trotting in beside her. She gave me a curious look but didn’t say anything.
