"Uh, yeah. I can be free. What's up?"

I hesitate. "It's all good. If you're busy, I can leave you be."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. I didn't say that. I'm just at training but we're finished now. What did you need?"

What did I need? That's a good question. Aaron will freak out if he finds out I'm calling some random guy.

"I don't know," I mutter sadly under my breath.

The line falls silent for a few seconds before Beau clears his throat. "Did you want to get a coffee?"

"I thought you didn't drink coffee?" I ask, surprised.

"I don't, but you do I assume."

I bite my bottom lip, my leg tapping nervously on the ground. Why does this feel so wrong?

"Addison?"

"Uh, yeah. Okay, coffee sounds good. I'll head over now."

I quickly walk away from the apartment complex, my gaze darting around from any signs of Aaron's car. The coffee shop is on the campus grounds and as I reach the edge of Groveton, I start to relax a bit. I know without a doubt that Aaron won't be on campus. He'll be off playing fantasy football or poker… or having sex with someone.

The thought kills me inside and I choke back tears as I walk mindlessly to the coffee shop. I linger outside in the shade under a tree, my hand still touching my cheek absent-mindedly as I wait.

I don't even see Beau approaching until he's stopped right in front of me.

"Wow, you must feel like crap."

My head shoots up as I stare at him wide-eyed. I quickly offer a forced smile, noticing two guys standing close behind him.

I lock eyes with the duplicate of Beau, blinking before looking between them. "Jesus, you guys really are twins."

The blond haired guy lets out a laugh, obviously used to this reaction.

"Shut up, Chase," Jax snaps, shooting him an annoyed look.

Beau hushes them both. "Were these the two delinquents giving you grief in the coffee shop?"

The accompanying pair looks offended, making me laugh. "That's them."

Jax looks between me and Beau before it dawns on him. "Ahh. She thought I was you. Explains a lot," he says as an afterthought.

I look away embarrassed. "In my defense, you do look eerily similar."

Jax scoffs. "Clearly, I'm the better looking twin."

I'm not sure if he's joking or not, my eyes shooting between them as I try to findsomethingto tell them apart.

Chase waves at me. "Jax has a freckle on his cheek."

My eyes inadvertently check their faces, spotting the tiny light brown mark just grazing above Jax's jawline that is absent on Beau. I offer Chase a small smile in exchange for this new information, filing it away for future assistance.

"So, did you really want coffee?" Beau asks.

There's a suspicious tone to his voice, immediately putting me on edge. I look at him cautiously, shrugging.

"I'm pretty easy going. I just wanted to get out of the house."
