Page 164 of Say You'll Stay

I glance over and a few of those guys are looking over at us. One of them winks.Winks.

“You watched me sit down, and you just let that guy approach me?” Was he hiding? I didn’t see him anywhere.

Lucas shrugs. “I was close by. Nothing would happen to you. Besides.” He leans in to my ear while his hand comes down on my thigh, and shivers run down my spine. “You don’t need that reassurance, Allie, but you’re missing the point. They all noticed you and those guys were making bets that the guy wouldn’t talk to you. Learn to stop comparing yourself to what you think makes someone hot, Allie, because you can wear the red lipstick and whatever you want. Clearly, you don’t realize you get everyone’s attention wherever you go and without even trying.”

Although Lucas tells me all the time, I’m still surprised by what he is saying. But maybe he’s right.

Lucas and I finish our drinks and he orders small bites for us from the kitchen here. I think I had too much to drink, because Lucas has to carry me back to the car.

“I really shouldn’t do this,” I giggle. “It’s kind of bad.”

“It’s only once in a while, Allie. You’re fine. It’s not like we keep it at home.”

That’s true. He isn’t keen on alcohol in the house, unless it’s the occasional wine I bring home. Lucas only likes it in moderation, and I kind of like that about him.

“In you go, red lips.”

Red lips. I like that too.

“Me too, especially if you paint my cock with them.”

Oh. He heard that.

Lucas snorts and helps me into the car while I talk about nonsense. “Do you think your car is magic, Lucas?”

“Magic?”

“Yeah, like, we made Jadon back there. Is the back seat like a magic seat?”

He rolls his eyes, and the streetlight hits one side of his face, casting a shadow on the other side of him. “I guess you could say that.” He squats down beside me and checks over his shoulder. “Do you trust me?”

“Yeah?” How could I not?

He nods and narrows his gaze on my stomach, and turns my knees out to face him. “You should wear red more often, Allie. It suits you.”

“I think I will.” I bought eight new lip stains, sticks, glosses and… I can’t remember the rest. But they’re all red. I was only going to wear them at home, but maybe I’ll wear them when I’m working too.

Lucas reaches up the skirt and pulls my panties down to my knees and pulls me forward.

“You’re sure no one is here, Lucas?”

“Mhm.” He kisses the spot just over my knee. “Just relax.” Lucas holds me still while his lips move up my leg. His grip is a little tight, but not painful.

“Did that Zane guy make you jealous?”

He stops and doesn’t look up at me. “Yes.”

“I was about to tell him we were married before you stepped in.”

“I know, Allie. You’re good.”

I kind of like it when he says that. “Tell me again, Lucas.”

He chuckles and goes back to making his way up my thigh, and reaches up the short skirt of the dress, flattening his hand over my stomach before sliding it down. My head falls back and my hips have a mind of their own, lifting closer to him. He pulls my legs up over his head, ducking under the panties around my knees so they’re behind him.

“You really want me to say you’re a good girl?” The bottom of the dress climbs up my torso, and he has everything before him.

“Yes…” I’m shaking and throbbing with anticipation.
