“I’m not sure if you noticed, but I’ve been a little weird today,” he sighed.

I snorted. “You weren’t that slick about it.”

“You just know me well, I guess.”

“Too well.”

“Do you remember what you said about the wedding a few months ago?”

I nodded with a lifted brow.

“And how you wanted to get married here on the beach?”

“Yesss?”

“I made some arrangements to make that happen.”

“Wow! That’s amazing!”

“This weekend.”

“Wait, what?!”

He took several steps, closing the gap between us. “I know it’s soon. I have Tanya, Laura, and Joseph working on things and getting everything moved here.”

I gasped. “My dress!”

“Diana will be here tonight but said it shouldn’t be an issue because of the way it’s cut.”

Crashing my lips into his, I cut him off with a kiss. Though he was romantic, I never imagined he would have thought of all of it. I wanted to cry. I did cry. I could no longer contain the happiness.

Felipe is dead! I am free! I’m getting married! I’m going to be a mom!I celebrated through my ugly sobs into the arms of the man who would be my husband in a matter of days.

“Tomorrow is the big day.”

Correction. The man who would be my husband tomorrow. I snickered before my eyes widened. “Wait! What about a rehearsal dinner?!”

“Bella, I have it all handled for us.” He winked. “You planned the wedding. I’m just executing it sooner for us.”

“You’re so amazing.” I froze for a moment. “I have one request.”

He arched a brow.

“Helen, Piers, and Jean Pierre.”

“What about them?”

“I want them here.”

“Bella, I—”

“Please.” I took a deep breath. “They’ve all been working for you for so long, and besides Joseph, if it weren’t for those three, I would have completely freaked out more than I did.”

“I suppose I can ask them to work, but I gave them the weekend off.”

“Not work. I want them here as guests if they can make it. They have more than proven themselves to you, and I can’t imagine our day without them here to celebrate as people who are close to us. Those people have treated me like family and waited on both of us, even when we didn’t need them to.”

He smirked, nodding.
