“Noon. I’m going for a run and then planning, then lunch. You joining?”

“Yeah. I’ll join you for the run, too.”

“Same. Gotta be in shape for the Olympic trials,” Reed said, giving me a peck.

“Wait… did it get approved?” I asked, turning to Fletcher.

“Yeah. Late last night.” He beamed, taking my hand in his. I loved touching multiple of them at the same time. “The camera crew reworked their shooting schedule after the locker room incident, so they’ll be with us tomorrow to travel for their last day. So, it will be the perfect time to stage your plan.”

Grinning, I tackled him in a hug as I crushed our bodies together. “We’re going to do it. We’re going to shut down Dakota and Kurt. Thank you.”

“It’s all you, babe. You’re the one that makes people want to stand up and fight. So, let’s hit the pavement.”

“We’ll need to ask Dax for some strength and conditioning,” I said, my mind racing.

“Why do you think Dmitry approved him? He’s for us as much as the kids. With him focusing only on hockey, he can be available to get us back in playing condition.”

Reed stretched, his six-pack abs on full display. “Some of us never got out of it, old man,” he teased as he stood.

Fletcher rolled his eyes good-naturedly, but he wasn’t a slouch. I was confident in the three of us returning to peak playing condition. I wanted to challenge Dakota directly, but if it came down to a game, I’d have my guys on my side.

Jumping off the bed, I rushed over to a drawer and pulled out my sports bra, leggings, and my own tech shirt. I’d never gotten dressed to run so fast in my life.

“Last one has to shower alone,” I yelled as I ran out the door to stretch.

The guys hurried after as they rushed to change, a smile on my face the entire five miles.

“And we can get the VIP section for the entire night?” I asked, my eyes bulging. “Uh-huh. Yeah, okay. Sounds great. Are we allowed to bring in any food? Okay, sounds perfect. Thank you so much. I’ll send over the deposit.”

I hung up the phone and checked the last item off my list for Sera’s bachelorette party. Scar had delegated tasks out once she realized how much was involved. I’d booked a venue, contacted a bakery to make penis themed confections, and ordered tiaras, sashes, and necklaces in hot pink. Thanks to Dax’s connections, the venue had been the easiest part.

I picked up my phone to let the girls know and check on their lists.

Henley

VIP is all set up. Cake and decorations too. How are you ladies fairing?

Scar

Entertainment and activities are done.

Henley

You kept it tame, right?

Scar

Of course.

Suze

Why did we let her be involved? You know it’s going to be strippers.

Scar

They like to be referred to as exotic dancers.
