I must fall asleep or something because the next thing I know I’m being shaken awake by someone. My eyes fly open when I feel hands grip my shoulders.

“Charlie!” I hear Lio yell. I rip the headphones out of my ears and water splashes all around the edge of the tub.

“Jesus Lio what the heck!” I screamed, scared out of my mind.

“You weren’t answering your door or when I came inside. You scared the shit out of me.” He stands up and grabs a towel to lay on the floor where the water splashed.

“Why were you banging on my door?” I swallowed hard.

“Something happened. I was coming to check on you but when you didn’t answer the door you freaked me out.” He runs his hands through his hair.

“What happened Lio?”

“Someone vandalized the truck after you got back. I don’t know why or who but when I came back to drop off the camera stuff to my office I saw them running away. I don’t know if it was a random attack or if it has anything to do with the man you saw earlier but I wanted to make sure you were okay.” He sighed, sitting down on the toilet.

“What? Someone vandalized the truck? What the hell?” I stand up in the bath, and it was at that moment I remembered I was in the bath….naked. Lio looks up to the ceiling and I quickly grab a towel off the rack and wrap it around me.

“Sorry.” He mumbled while still looking at the ceiling.

“It’s okay.” I tried to laugh.

“But anyways, yeah. Someone slashed the tires and smashed all the windows. Probably some stupid teen or something. But I will be putting cameras up first thing tomorrow morning.” He clears his throat. I step out of the bath and make my way to the bedroom.

When I turn to open it I see Lio standing in the bathroom door frame. He is staring at me with a look I’ve never seen on him before. He starts walking towards me.

“What are you doing?” I whispered.

“Walking real slow towards you.”

“Why?” I licked my lips.

“Because if I ran I might scare you.” He closed the distance between us.

“Lio.” I let out a breath.

“Charlie.” He pushed me back against the wall.

“What are you doing?” I whispered.

“Something I’ve been wanting to do for years.” He grabs the back of my head and looks into my eyes, I don’t say anything I just nod. And that’s all it takes. He pulls me closer to him and his lips crash against mine. My hands wrap around his back and I dig my nails into him. He moans into my mouth before picking me up and I wrap my legs around his waist.

“Lio.” I moaned into his mouth.

His kiss deepens as he grabs my ass and pulls me closer to him. I have never seen Lio like this before. The way he’s holding onto me and taking control is a whole new side to him. I am loving this side of him.

My feelings for him have been buried deep for so long that I didn’t even think they were still there. But having his hands on me, the way he is pulling my hair and biting my lip is driving me crazy.

“Bed?” He whispers against my ear, I can’t form words so I just nod. He carries me over to the bed and throws me onto it. He climbs on top of me and parts my legs with his knee.

“You drive me crazy, silly girl.” He trails kisses down my neck.

“Is this really happening?” I whisper.

“It is, and I have waited my whole life for this.” He kisses me hard and fiercely, stealing my breath.

I break our kiss so I can take off his shirt, I knew he worked out obviously but holy crap it should be illegal to look that good.

“See something you like?” He smirked.
