“I’m close,” Miles says, pulsing inside me as he tests his knot again.

“So am I,” Lawson rasps out, his voice like sandpaper.

“Fuck.” Miles’s fingers dig into my hips as his knot finally deflates enough for him to slip out. I can feel the reluctance in him, the unwillingness to separate from my body, and it’s a testament to the bond between him and his pack mates that he does it.

The second he draws out of me, a rush of cum spills down my inner thighs—but I barely have time to notice it before Lawson is hauling me into his arms, gripping my legs and guiding them around his waist.

There’s no time for me to marvel at how easily he lifts me or how safe I feel in his arms, because he drops me onto his shaft, impaling me in one hard stroke and banishing every other thought from my mind.

“Lawson!”

I scream out his name, winding my arms around his shoulders as another climax hits me out of nowhere. He’s right there with me, his knot swelling as he throbs inside me, burying his face in my neck.

“Lily. Lily. Lily.”

He chants my name, his hold on me almost bruising as he finally lets go, his body shuddering against mine with the force of his release. He keeps his arms banded around me even as we slowly start to relax, the height of the pleasure beginning to recede. His lips find the skin of my throat, pressing gentle kisses there, and I become aware of new hands on me as the other Alphas gather around, petting and stroking me.

The fire of need inside me dims to a glowing ember, and a sleepy smile crosses my face. My eyelids droop shut, and when I try to blink them open again, they’re too heavy to lift.

“Thank you,” I breathe, trailing my fingertips over the warm, firm skin of Lawson’s shoulders. “That was… perfect.”

“It truly fucking was.” He nips at my ear, sending a little jolt through me. “I don’t know how the hell we lived our lives up to this point without you, beautiful. We were lost, and we didn’t even know it.”

His words make a lump rise in my throat, but instead of responding with words, I just cling to him more tightly, feeling the other Alphas surrounding us an all sides.

My Alphas.

Chapter 27

Lily

I wake up groggy, blinking blearily as I yawn. My body thrums with energy, with need, but it’s not as bad as last night. I feel like I can think clearly now. It’s not a complete fog in my brain.

The door to the bedroom opens and I realize what woke me up. Miles, Cruz, and Knox are all asleep around me, but Lawson’s not there.

The door swings open farther and Lawson steps quietly inside, using his hip to close the door behind him. He’s got a tray in his hands, with food on it, and he’s wearing boxers but nothing else.

I smirk, taking in the view as he walks over. He really is so handsome.

Lawson smiles as he sees I’m awake. “Good morning, beautiful. Glad to see you’re up. Here.”

I push myself up into a sitting position as he puts the tray down in front of me and then settles back into the nest. It’s bacon and eggs, sausage, and toast. Simple but hearty.

“Figured I should make you something. You need to keep up your energy and Miles was worn out after fucking you hard that last round.”

Lawson winks at me and I feel my face heat up. I glance over at Miles, curled up on his side against me, completely dead to the world. He dominated me just the right way last night, and I shiver at the memory. My body pulses with heat, wanting more…

Lawson gently turns my face away from Miles and back to him. “Hey, you gotta eat first, okay?”

I laugh softly. “Okay.”

I dig into the food. It’s delicious. “I didn’t realize you cooked.”

“Oh, yeah, I know. Miles does the majority of the cooking around here. But I had to grow up pretty self-sufficient so I learned the basics from a young age.”

“My grandmother tried to teach me to be independent. Even without the cancer… she worried that given her age she’d die while I was still young and she wanted me to be able to take care of myself.”

Lawson nods. “Mine wasn’t quite so… I mean. I just grew up really poor. Mom worked multiple jobs trying to make ends meet and Dad died when I was young, so I was often making my own meals alone while Mom worked.”
