She smiled and locked the door to the facility then went to get her purse.

She was thankful to Harmon. He had asked about something painful, but she was able to hold back while lancing personal pain. It wasn’t fair that a kid had done it, but his entire family was made of alphas and omegas. It wasn’t a mystery why she would be upset.

It was cute that he thought there was a way to fix her. The Omega Centre had done its best, and she still had parchment-thin skin where her junk was.

It felt like a night for greasy takeout and a good movie.

Harmon pulled his uncle away from the crowd and into his office. “Uncle, do you know of any other alphas with honey-tongue?”

Delun blinked. “A few.”

“Are any of them unmated?”

“Two. Why are you asking? If you are injured, you can just tell me.”

He looked at his uncle and grimaced. “I sort of forced the explanation from a woman I work with at the community centre. She gives off the faint scent of omega and a sweet vegetable, but she says she isn’t dating or seeing anyone, so I asked a few questions. She has burn scars on a delicate area to the point where the Omega Centre is offering her unlimited suppressors.”

Delun stared. “You forced her to tell you all that?”

“I encouraged. She said an alpha gave her a card and told her to go to the salon, and the women there scalded her. I am right in where, right?”

His uncle nodded. “That must be agony. Burn scars are basically perpetually exposed nerves under parchment-thin skin. Why do you want another healer to help?”

“Uh, because it is a delicate area, would require you to have your mouth on her for a while, and might freak out Aunt Lexa?”

His uncle nodded. “I will see if the few that I know would do it. You are right, Harmon, it might cause issues with a mated pair. I should know in a few hours. Good enough?”

Harmon nodded. “Thanks, Uncle.”

“Right, now let’s get back to the party. Oh, by the way, what does this woman look like? They may ask.”

“She’s tall for a lady, even tall for a beta and is made entirely of soft scents and curves that make me wish I were a few years older.” He smiled. “She has huge eyes that are liquid and bright and a brilliant cornflower blue, and her hair is naturally long and snowy white, but she dyes it in pinks, blues, and purples.”

“If she had a beast, what would she be?”

Harmon paused. “A bunny. Despite her height, she looks really cuddly.”

“When do you see her again?”

“Next week is the last week of day camp. So, I see her Monday.”

“Don’t mention anything to her until I get you a definitive answer.”

His uncle was about to leave when he paused. “Harmon, do you have a picture of her?”

Harmon nodded. “Sure. It’s stuff that gets put up on the website for next year.”

“Send them to me.”

Harmon picked a few images and forwarded them to his uncle’s phone. When Delun’s eyes went wide at how pretty she was, Harmon had a pretty good idea that his uncle was actually going to make those calls. No one wanted to waste an omega.

Ula looked out the window and saw the dark car. “Your ride is here, Harmon. You go ahead.”

“We had a glitter explosion. I am staying until it’s cleared up.” He ran the wet cloth over the worktable.
