“Ha ha.” I laughed. “Is he single?”

“Dunno.” She shrugged and giggled. “But I can be a third wife.”

“The third wives club, baby.” I bit into my doughnut as we made our way down the corridor. “Are you bringing anyone to the office party on Friday?” I asked, wondering if I was the only one who was going to show up with someone. I desperately wanted to tell Natasha about the previous day’s interactions with Max, but I didn’t know her well enough yet to know if I could trust her.

“Not that I can think of.” She shook her head. “Maybe my roommate, if she wants some free drinks.”

“Who doesn’t want free drinks?” I said as I walked over to the coffee machine. “I’m hoping to bring a date this week.”

“Oh, wow, from the app?” she asked, surprised. “Really?”

“Yeah.” I nodded and then whispered, “I’ll tell you more later.”

“So any potentials?”

“There are two men that look kinda hot, but I’m just not sure.” I grabbed my phone from my handbag and opened the app. “Tell me your thoughts based on the conversations, yeah?”

“Oh, I’d love to.” She grinned as I opened the app on my phone.

“Okay, first guy’s name is Rob. He’s twenty-four, works as an electrician for his dad’s company. He loves dogs, horses, and fishing.”

“Ooh, he sounds a bit country.” She grinned. “Does that float your boat?”

“I mean, it’s not a red flag.” I laughed. “Not my ideal man, but I could be down.”

“Yeah, especially if he likes to go fishing a lot.” She winked at me. “If you know what I mean.”

“Natasha.” I giggled. “Anyway, this was our message from last night.”

“I’m listening eagerly,” she said as we stood there.
