My relaxation is short-lived as his thrusts become more and more vicious, stretching me open. Pleasure shoots through me again and again as my fingers curl, nails scraping against the countertop. A cool hand slips around my throat and forces my head up, turning me to face the bathroom mirror, and the image I see shocks me a little: a tear-stained face, mascara smeared underneath the eyes, and raw red lips cracked and bloody. I meet Dominic’s reflected gaze as he squeezes, cutting off my air.
“I want you to see how beautiful you look when you come,” he groans. “Just for me.”
“Yes, sir,” I groan.
He beams, his head tipping back a little as he thrusts deeper.
“There’s my girl.”
Dominic pulls me all the way up so that my body is nearly flush with his, my fingertips are just barely managing to touch the counter. He lets out a low hiss and bares his fangs, his eyes still locked with mine in the mirror. I’m already anticipating the pleasure of the bite as I tumble toward the edge. It always gives my climax that extra kick. God, I must be fucking delirious after being tied to that bed. He’s made me crazy.
“Do it,” I growl.
I cry out as he sinks his teeth into my neck. I can feel him draining me slowly, pain rushing to the site of the wound, but it’s so quickly wrapped up in pleasure that I can’t help but be swallowed up in this twisted bliss. Dominic lets out another deep snarl, rattling my bones before he tears his fangs away and finishes with a sinful moan.
Blood drips down my neck as his hips slow to a more languid pace, cock pulsing inside of me as he fills me up. His hand brushes affectionately against the small of my back, saying nothing as I slowly come back down to earth. A groan slips past my lips as he pulls out of me, and I’m immediately struck by the feeling of emptiness without him.
I fucking hate it.
I can hear the water crash into the tub as he starts the bath, and I manage to find the strength to push myself up and see my reflection once again, a rivulet of dark red blood running down my pale skin. The tattoos on my chest are smeared with it, crimson briefly obscuring Charlie’s name before I lick my fingers and wipe it away. I stare at myself, feeling like I’m looking at a complete stranger as I recall what Dominic had said last night. I put my finger to my lips, tasting my own blood. He had said I was sweet, like a strawberry popsicle.
All I taste is rusted metal left out in the rain.
He watches me with fascination, and I wonder what it would be like to be in his position. To be him.
I want what he has: the power, strength, speed.
All of it.
If I were one of them, this never would have happened. I could have put him down before he hurt me. I could have slaughtered Rene for disrespecting me. I could protect everyone at Nox.
Dominic slips out of his pants and kicks them aside, his body on display for me as he holds out a hand. The hand of a captor, desperate to be my savior.
So I take it.
It’ll be the first thing of many.
DOMINIC

Isitonthebed, watching Sofie the same way I used to watch Selene go through her nightly routine. She pulls a nightgown over her shoulders as her long copper hair cascades down her back. There’s a part of me that’s been reliving my old life together, but Sofie’s got sharper edges. There are more glares, which is fair considering what I’ve done.
“Have you reconsidered?” I ask.
“Reconsidered?” She echoes.
“Making the formula.”
She turns to me and grabs a brush off of the dresser. It’s an ivory handle with little gold flowers decorating it. My mother’s hairbrush, and the only thing I have left of her. It must be well over a hundred years old by now, passed down through the family.
Sofie runs it through her hair, little flecks of water dripping onto the floor.
“I want something from you.”
My eyes fly up and down her body, admiring the way the silk clings to her curves. She’s close enough to reach out and touch, but I keep my hands to myself. Watching her. Her demeanor has changed since our romp in the bathroom. I figured she was planning something, and now I get to find out what.
“And that is?”
