It’s only the two of us standing there together on the sidewalk—connected by a bond so strong that nothing could ever break it apart.
"I could eat you right now," I growl, cupping his hip.
Blakely moans, then winks at me. "What's stopping you?"
"We are," Justin teases.
"Yeah," Pablo snorts. "Get a room, you two."
Blakely whips around to glare at them. "What are you two doing here? Don't you have something better to do than eavesdrop?"
Justin and Pablo shrug, giving each other mischievous smiles. "We’re enjoying the show," Justin quips.
Blakely shakes his head in mock exasperation. "At least I know what your friends think about us—they find us hot."
I laugh and wrap my arm around his waist, pulling him closer to me. "I can assure you that my performance wouldn't be half as good without my leading man."
Blakely kisses me lightly on the nose before turning back to Justin and Pablo with a raised eyebrow. "What do you think of that, boys? Think you could put on a show like this?"
"Don’t flatter yourselves," Pablo says dryly.
"Ouch." Blakely feigns hurt feelings. He turns back to me and wraps an arm around my shoulders.
Justin snickers. "So, what about Waxley? Does he put on... shows as well?"
This gets my attention. "I thought you were straight, bro."
"Maybe I'm not so sure anymore." Justin shrugs and smiles sheepishly.
Blakely claps Justin on the shoulder. "It's okay, man. You don't have to be ashamed of who you are or who you love."
Justin nods. "You're right. I'm ready to accept myself for who I am—no matter who I'm attracted to."
Pride swells my heart as I watch Justin take this first step towards self-acceptance. Blakely breaks the beautiful moment by asking if we want to grab some dinner together.
We make our way into town, where we spend the evening talking about bottoming, blowjobs, and... Ha. Who am I kidding?
We enjoy delicious food and each other's company.
Nothing lewd.
Duh.
We're not pervs.
Well, Justin might be.
When Blakely grabs my dick under the table, I think he might be, too.
Fine, we're pervs.
Can you blame us?
As we wrap up the night, it’s evident that something has changed between us all—something more than an admission of sexuality from me or Justin. Something even bigger than that: acceptance, understanding, and love that transcends any label or definition of what it means to be proud of who you are.
This is what I was missing in my life. Amanda couldn’t have given me this, no matter how hard she tried.
