Gutter, meet Rian.

Ri rolls his eyes at his own inability to get a grip. Bran stuffs a chubby hand in Rian’s mouth, bringing him down to earth.

“Thanks buddy,” he murmurs as he gently wipes his little fingers in his own T-shirt. Bran looks perfectly pleased. It’s like he knows his daddy all too well – airhead galore and so in love, he needs a gentle reminder that they are on the run.

Ty’s backpack is hardly full and as they travel, Rian finds out why – at every stop, every arrival at a new location, they change and dump their previous attire. Ty pulls out of secret spaces in cleaning closets or toilets – anywhere they can sneak in – gear, money, and outfits. There are options even for Bran. They don’t take everything, some items Ty disposes of at other locations. It’s like he’s trying to leave various confusing trails.

This dress-up stops halfway through their trip. Ty tells him that from now on, they will be choosing flights at random. They must be careful and make do with what they have. Ri is only worried about Bran. His little boy has been handling the travel like a trouper, but they have been at it for nearly a day and there is only so much his son can handle without getting fussy.

Luckily for him, Ty announces they are boarding their last flight soon. Ri doesn’t even care where they’re going, as long as he never loses sight of Ty. This man is so important and precious to him. Ri knows, with absolute certainty, it is vital he holds on to Tayida. Even if that makes him look desperate or dependent, he doesn’t care. His closeness feels like home. Ty is his lifeline through this unimaginable ordeal.

They may be on the run, still scared and uncertain of the future, but being with Tayida makes Rian feel alive and strong enough to take control of his life.

Tayida takes Bran from him as they go through the last set of gates. There is no other way to describe the easy effortless bond he has developed with Ri’s child but to simply state, that Ty looks and acts like he is Brandon’s father.

The little boy is perfectly content in his arms. Ty probably doesn’t even realize he has been kissing his soft curls every now and then, gently swaying his hips side to side, while he waits for Rian to pack his things from the tray after having their carry-on luggage checked.

Ty gives him a tired soft smile, making Ri feel overwhelmed, desperately in love, fuzzy and horny, all at the same time. His face grows hot, but he doesn’t look away. There is no way he will hide his desire for Ty anymore. He wants him. All of him.

Rian has loved this man for so many years. He has fantasized plenty about the way he would tell him that he is crazy about him. But he has never allowed his thoughts to venture further than that. SayingI love youseemed impossible enough.

They walk through the narrow tunnel on their way to board the plane. Ty is still holding Bran, who is fast asleep. He’s currently dressed in some navy chinos and a baby blue polo shirt with tacky pink flamingos all over it. They are both wearing some knock-off cheap brand of tennis shoes that squeaked obnoxiously when they walked through the airport, making them both chuckle.

No matter what Ty is wearing, he looks beautiful. Rian is happy he has this moment to himself, while he is following Ty, to blush profusely at the graphic fantasies flooding his mind – images of Ty’s naked body. The perfection of every line, dip, and curve of his powerful torso, spread out for Rian to feast upon.

Visions of Rian worshipping Ty and driving into him. He wants to put his hands on this amazing man and find out what makes him lose his mind with lust. He wants to turn Tayida into a pleading mess ofwant. The thoughts are so sudden and unlike him that they almost scare him. But not nearly enough to chase his fantasies away. Curiosity prevails, as he gives in to the vivid daydreams his imagination is eagerly producing.

Ty on his knees arching his back. Ty undressing for him in a slow seductive manner, doing his best to please Rian. Ty licking into his mouth, producing needy desperate whimpers as Rian drives into him, fucking him with an abandon he has never known before. Ty looking back at him over his shoulder.

Jesus. Where is this coming from?

Ri has never considered himself overly feminine, passive or exclusively a bottom, but most people look at his face and take his gentle features and the softness in his eyes for a confirmation of their own assumptions, often ignoring the fact that he is a six-foot-one swimmer. Rian is lean but pretty cut and strong. Ty may have about twenty, maybe thirty pounds of muscle on him, but Ri is no waif by any stretch of the imagination.

Why am I even thinking about this? As if Ty would ever…

His inner monologue is interrupted by something that sounds awfully like a question. Ty is talking to him, but he has been too distracted with his plans of seduction to pay attention. If anything, he has to glance quickly down to make sure he is not sporting an inappropriate boner. Ri meets Ty’s eyes as the love of his life is looking at him intently over his shoulder.

“I’m sorry, what?” Ri mumbles, fixing the straps of the backpack he is carrying.

“Do you have our tickets, honey?” Ty smiles at him and steps to the side where a stewardess is waiting patiently. She gives them both a confused look. Seconds later an understanding dawns on her face. She smiles and gives Ri a small wave.

Fuck, he would kill for this to be real – that Ty is his husband, and they are two goofy idiots in love going on a family vacation. He hastily digs through the front pocket of the bag, he’s been nervously clutching. He can’t help but flush knowing he’s got eyes on him. Can Ty tell what he’s been thinking?

He hands over the boarding passes. A warm blushing feeling spills over him, as Ty leans in closer to give his hand a gentle squeeze. “Thanks, honey.”

Ri wants to kiss him, and he almost does, but his little munchkin chooses to wake up at that precise moment. Rian beams at his sleepy boy and takes him in his arms.

Bran has the cutest grin on his face as he beams back at his daddy. He reaches for Rian’s mouth then changes his mind and turns to the stewardess instead. Rian chuckles and shakes his head, taking a step back.

Oh no you don’t.

He smiles slightly embarrassed then mouths,I’m sorry, giving her an apologetic look. Luckily, the woman laughs with him. She gives their boarding passes a quick glance and leads them inside, helping them find their seats.

They couldn’t be seated together. The tickets were bought last minute. Rian already dreads being apart from Ty. Even if he knows Tayida is only a few feet away, it still bugs him to be separated from him. He is trying not to be too obvious and look over his shoulder to where Tayida’s seat has been allocated.

Pathetic. He calls himself out. He can’t remember ever feeling this needy for another person. His infatuation with Ty has always been outrageously intense, but this shit here goes beyond his past crush. Bran makes himself comfortable in his lap, independently selecting snacks from the small packs Rian has lined up on the tray in front of him.

This kid.
