We both collapse on the bed, then laugh.
“Don’t take off the skirt or the socks. I think I’ll be ready for another round soon.”
“Oh no, I’ve created a monster.”
I lean up and look at her. “That’s another scenario we could play. Velma and a monster.”
“But then I’ll have to pull the mask off and be all, ‘it’s not really a monster, it’s just my big, bearded husband,’” she says in a mock Velma voice.
I smile down at her. “I love you.”
“I love you too. But I am letting you know, here is where I draw the Scooby line. We’re not naming our kids after any of the characters. They’re just for us.”
“Fair enough. How do you feel about Tom? Or Jerry?”
She laughs. “Oh my gosh, you are ridiculous. But I love you.”
