“Raina, I want you to go into my office,” Alex growled. “Now,” he said when she didn’t move fast enough.
She ran and then closed the door but could hear Bainsy and other men’s voices.
The minutes ticked by, and each one was more excruciating than the last. She was a few steps away from the door when it opened, and Alex walked in. She could tell he wasn’t pleased with her, but she didn’t know why.
The way he closed and locked the door sent a shiver of apprehension through her. She moved back behind the desk. “So, um, how did it go?”
“She was arrested. They’ll give her a break if she tells them what and where she sold the stolen items.”
“She was doing it for that prisoner guy my aunt had. I wondered why the woman hated me.”
Alex nodded. “I wish you had told me about her. I got a call from Bains telling me he caught the woman stealing, and I told him to call the police but not to confront the woman. When I walked in the door and heard you confront her, I almost had a heart attack.”
“I’m sorry. I was going to tell you, but I kept forgetting,” she said.
“Don’t ever do that again, Baby. I need to know everything.”
“Even if I poop,” she joked, but her face fell when his eyes narrowed.
“I want you to pull your dress up and lean over the desk.”
“W… why?”
“You know why. You’re going to be punished.”
Alex unbuttoned his shirt cuffs and rolled them up as he walked toward her. “If you don’t do it, I’ll add another swat for every second you disobey me.”
Raina sucked in a breath and walked to the desk. She pulled her dress up and leaned down until her chest was on the cold surface.
“That’s a good girl.”
She shivered when he ran his hand over her bare ass. “Daddy?”
“What, Baby?”
“I’m afraid.”
Alex sighed. “Do you think I’d do anything to hurt you?”
“Spankings hurt.”
“In a way. Your ass has a lot of tissue to cushion my spanking. It’s going to sting, but in no way will it hurt you.”
She relaxed.
He rubbed his hand up and down her ass before she heard a sound and then felt the heat from the slap set in. He continued fourteen more times before he stopped.
Even though it didn’t hurt, it still made her cry.
He lifted her, sat in the chair, and cuddled her against his chest. “I can’t lose you. Please don’t put your life in danger again.”
Raina sniffed and nodded. “I’m sorry, Daddy.”
“I know you are. I don’t like punishing you.”
“I know.”
“Did it hurt like you thought it would?” he asked.
