Raina watched Mara and Riley look at each other, grinned widely, and nodded. “Yes,” they said in unison before bursting out laughing, making the other girls giggle.

“Let’s play tag,” Emma said. She reached out and tapped Kyla. “You’re it.”

Kyla groaned and started to chase them around the pool. The game lasted for an hour before the women stopped and relaxed in the shallow area.

“I’m so glad you guys came.”

Emma squeezed her hand. “We are, too.”

“Girls, get out before you turn into prunes,” Rafael yelled.

They laughed but walked out of the pool. Raina grabbed her cover-up but didn’t put it on. She used a towel to wipe herself off as she made her way to Alex. She squeaked when he yanked her onto his lap.

“You’re in such trouble,” he whispered against her ear.

She looked up at him. “Why?”

“That suit. It barely covers you, Baby.”

“I don’t think it’s bad.”

One of Alex’s brows lifted. “You’re not the daddy now, are you?”

She bit her lip to keep from smiling.

“I think your friends have to leave.”

“Already?” Raina asked.

“They’ll be back. I promise. Let’s get you dressed.”

Alex helped her pull on the cover-up, made her stand, and took her hand to follow the other people.

Alex shook the guys’ hands while she and the other girls hugged.

“I had so much fun. Thank you for coming,” Raina said, waving at them as they walked out the door.

Alex closed the door, and the look he gave her sent a shiver down her back.

“Bains,” Alex called out.

The man came from the kitchen. “Yes, sir.”

“We’ll be upstairs for the remainder of the day. Could you have Sandy bring us a tray like she did last night?”

“Of course. Would you like it set out in the hallway on a table?”

“That would work. Thank you.”

Bains bowed. “You’re welcome, sir.”

Alex turned his attention back to her and held out his hand. “Come with me, Baby.”

She wanted to excite him, but now that they’d be alone, she was starting to get shy. She thought she might have bit off more than she could chew.

“Now,” Alex said.

She reached for his hand and let him lead her up the stairs. Her feet started to drag the closer they got to the bedroom.
