She nodded, turned on her side, closed her eyes, and slept.
It felt like she’d just closed her eyes when Alex woke her.
“Hey. Sleepyhead. Are you ready to go?”
She nodded and then stretched. She hadn’t realized the blanket had slipped down, and her breast was showing. She went to cover it, but he stopped her.
“No. Don’t hide from me, Baby. I love looking at you. You’re so beautiful.”
The back of his hand stroked over her nipple, making goose bumps appear over her body. “Thank you.”
“Say it,” he demanded.
She knew exactly what he wanted. “Thank you, Daddy.”
“Fuck, yeah.” His head swooped down and took her lips with a hunger she’d never experienced before. She wrapped her arms around him and held on tight.
The kiss seemed to go on forever. When he lifted his head, she shook hers.
“No, Daddy. Please. Don’t stop.”
Alex sighed and shoved the hair from her face. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have started something. Remember, I want to wait until your stitches come out.”
Her body ached, and she knew he was the only one that could fix it. “When will that be?”
“Let me look.”
Alex turned her to her side and uncovered her waist. He pulled the light closer to see better. She felt him push on it and feel around the owie.
“How does it look?” she asked and raised her head to try to see it.
“It’s good.”
She looked over her shoulder at him. “So, they can come out?”
Alex nodded and reached for a dress. “Yes. I’ll take them out tonight when we get to your house…”
“Our house,” she reminded him.
He grinned. “Yes. Our house.”
“Are you packed?” she asked.
“Yes. Everything is in the car.”
He drew her off the bed and pulled the dress over her head before putting on her shoes.
“All ready to go,” Alex said. He wrapped his arm around her. “I’ve talked to Ms. Barker. She says she wants to meet the other staff. She says she’s too young to retire and doesn’t want to work with someone she doesn’t know, so she’d like to meet Sandy.”
Raina nodded. “I can understand that.”
“Let’s go,” Alex said, leading her through the house.
“Are you sure you won’t miss it here?” she asked as he buckled her seat belt.
“I’m positive. There were things I wanted to do to the place that I never got to. I don’t think I even changed the paint or flooring.”
“What things did you want to do?” she asked. She couldn’t take her eyes off of him. The streetlights flashed into the car for a moment, letting her see everything. It was mesmerizing.
