“I don’t think he’s going to want to play games or watch a movie with me.”

Both men chuckled.

Before Alex could say anything, a beautiful woman skipped into the room and over to the man, who instantly put his arm around her waist.

“Hi,” the woman said.

Raina looked up at Alex uncertainly and tried to move behind him, but he just tightened his grip on her.

“Easy, Baby. You don’t have to be afraid of these two. The man is Darian, a very close friend of mine, and that’s his little, Larkin.”

Larkin rushed to her and hugged her tightly. “We’re going to be very best friends.”

Raina looked at Alex. “Really?”

“Yes.”

Darian chuckled. “Larkin, I think you’re scaring her.”

Larkin leaned back and studied her before shaking her head. “Naw, she’s not an old lady. She’s a powerful little that will help the gang take over the world.”

Both men chuckled.

“She’s kidding,” Alex said. “She knows she’ll get her butt beat and then fucked if she tries to give orders.”

“You would do that?” Raina said and then blushed when she realized she’d said it in front of the men.

Larkin laughed. “You should see your face.”

“Oh, well, I didn’t mean to ask that.”

“Yes, you did,” Larkin said.

Darian sighed. “Larkin, you met the woman a few minutes ago, and you’ve already scared, insulted, and embarrassed her.”

Larkin grinned at Darian. “I’m getting better, aren’t I, Daddy?”

Alex snorted.

“Can we go into the playroom, Alex?” Larkin asked.

“It’s okay if your daddy’s fine with it?”

Larkin hopped and clapped her hands. “Daddy!” she yelled.

Darian rolled his eyes. “Sure, but we’ll want to see you shortly, so don’t start a movie.”

Larkin grabbed onto her hand and started tugging. “Come on.”

Raina looked at Alex, who smiled and nodded. “Go and have some fun. She’s loud but harmless.”

Larkin froze and faced him. “I heard that.”

Alex chuckled. “I’m sure you did. Can you dispute it?”

Larkin sighed. “No.” She turned to Raina. “Let’s go have some fun. Daddies are so boring.”

They were down the hall when Raina heard Darian yell that she’d pay for that later. Looking at the other woman, she saw no fear, just anticipation.
