Page 80 of Say You Love Me

“I want to watch Austin fuck you,” Hudson breathes into my ear. He dry humps me a few times, his hardness straining against the confines of his pants, begging to be set free, before spinning me around and crashing his mouth against mine. “Did you see the way he was looking at you?” His voice is raw and ragged as though the words have been ripped unwillingly from his throat. “He wants you.” He’s feverish with lust. Dark with need. The thought of another man’s hands on me driving him to the point of insanity.

Pushing me to the bed, Hudson shoves his pants down and bends me over the edge so my backside lifts into the air. He uses his knees to spread my legs, pushing them apart and he groans when he sees the moisture glistening. He thinks it’s because of what he’s saying. He doesn’t know it’s all for him. Only for him.

It will only ever be him.

He pushes inside me brutally and I cry out as he thrusts deep. “Do you think I should let him touch you? Do you think I should let him live out his fantasies?” His words are punctuated with his thrusts. I push back against him, urging him to fuck me deeper, harder.

“His fantasies or yours?” I pant.

I know he wants me to come undone at the thought of another man’s hands on me, but that’s not what twists the lust in my core. Hudson is the only one who can do that. I will do anything to make him happy.

He is my husband.

And I will love him.

He fucks me with an undying rhythm until his movements slow and become less hurried. His mouth falls to my shoulder and he sucks on the tender flesh of the crook of my neck, leaving me bruised with his mark. And when he comes, I feel every pump and twitch, every surge of his release, every pulse of his seed.

Once he’s done, we slide under the covers and he pulls me into his arms. He presses kisses to my shoulder until his breathing slows and he falls to sleep. The curtains are still open and the moon shines in the window. I can’t sleep. Usually, I can push away the memories, push away the unwanted thoughts, but tonight it’s almost impossible.

Visions of Rylee’s tongue sweeping over my stomach come to mind. Only, when he lifts his head, when his eyes meet mine, they are no longer Rylee’s. Instead, they are Austin’s. Blue and mischievous.

I pull away from Hudson and climb out of bed. It’s been months since I’ve had a cigarette, in fact, it’s ever since Rylee and I fought on the dock. Fumbling through the kitchen drawer in the dark, my fingers close around the packet and I pull one out, bringing it to my lips and lighting the tip. I don’t care that wafts of smoke escape as I wander through the house to the back door. I inhale greedily and let the smoke fill the air. The rush of nicotine spins my head.

Outside the air is cool and goosebumps dance along my skin. I’m undressed, naked under the moonlight. Lifting my gaze, I search for that one star. The Finity star. It flickers and dances, changing color against the ebony.

I blink and the sky begins to swirl. It rocks and rolls, changing from star-splattered space to inky water. Rylee’s pale face appears, his hand stretched toward me as he sinks to the dark depths. Blood flows from the deep gash on the side of his head, floating through the water as a ribbon of red. I inhale on my cigarette and blow a stream of smoke upwards, distorting the image and erasing Rylee from my mind.

I search for the Finity star again but I can no longer find it. My father was a liar, but his lies made things better. So for that I forgave him.

Turning back inside, I walk back up the stairs and slide under the covers, searching for the arms of my husband. He wraps them around me and presses a kiss to my cheek.

He is my husband.

No one can come between us.

I won’t let them.

As he nuzzles closer, Hudson’s words are quiet in the stillness of the night.

“Tell me something I don’t know.”

A Note from the Author

Thank you for taking the time to read Say You Love Me.

If you enjoyed it, I’d appreciate it if you left a review. Reviews help other readers find books, and the more a book is read, the more it encourages authors to keep writing.

Because Finity and Hudson’s story had been in my mind for a long time, the words just poured onto the page.

Their story was so unique and strange, I couldn’t wait to write it.

So I hope you found it interesting!

If you’ve got any questions or would like to keep up to date with my books, I’d love to hear from you.
