With a quick change of positions, I’m still on top of her, inside of her, but now I can rub her clit while I stroke her, and after a few seconds, Cory arches her back into a powerful orgasm that practically shakes us both. It brings me to my own climax, spilling my seed inside of her.

I collapse onto the bed, out of breath. Suddenly, the running water reminds me that this wasn’t supposed to happen. I give myself a beat to catch my breath, regain some strength, and push myself off the bed.

Cory’s as light as a feather as I scoop her into my arms and carry her into the bathroom. When I stand her up outside of the shower, her knees buckle a bit. She steadies herself, gripping me by the shoulders and staring into my eyes.

“You meant what you said? I’m yours forever?” she asks.

“Now and forever, baby,” I promise her because I know it’s true. I’m not going anywhere so long as she’s around.

We step inside the shower, and she flips the switch on a control panel that turns on the jets. With a devilish grin, she looks at me, saying, “See, Daddy. Inside the shower won’t be so bad.”

“You’re right.”

I wash her hair and body before taking care of myself and finally turning the water off.

This isn’t how this day was supposed to go. This is not on the itinerary, but I’m happy. The words strike me while passing through my mind. I’m happy and didn’t realize how unhappy I am without Cory soon-to-be Conyers.

She doesn’t know that yet, but I’m going to do whatever it takes to make that a reality as soon as possible.

With a towel around my waist, I make my way over to the apartment next door to grab a change of clothes. Luckily, no one’s in the hall, but I’m sure the security guard manning the monitors got an eyeful.

I’m in the middle of throwing on a pair of sweats when I hear a soft knock at the door. It’s Cory and I let her in.

“I’m going to start packing up my stuff for us to get out of here. I want you to come see my ranch. I think you’ll like it out there.”

“Where is it?” she asks, looking around the nearly empty space.

“I’m closer to the Sierra Mountains. Got about a dozen acres or so. Not sure what to do with ‘em, but they’re mine. Soon enough, they’ll be yours to do with whatever you like.”

She chuckles. “I don’t think I’m good at ranching.”

“Don’t have to be. For now, I just trim the grass every once in a while. We’re not out in the middle of nowhere like this town. We can take a short drive to LA if you want, go to the beach, travel. Whatever you want to do.”

“This has to be a dream. Are you rich or something?”

“That’s rude, Cory. I’m well off enough to do whatever I want.”

“So why are you a bodyguard?”

“I’m not.” I level with her. “I run a security company, and when Bjorn asked for a quote, I saw you and took the job myself. He thought I was crazy. Maybe I am. But I knew I couldn't trust your safety to anyone else, especially after my meetings with him and then coming here.”

She looks stuck on what to do.

“Are you hungry? You must be starving. Why don’t we get dressed, and I’ll take you out to eat or something?”

“I’d like that, Daddy.” She smiles and approaches me, and I wrap my arms around her tiny waist to hold her close. An explosion of emotions comes over me. I know I’m never going to let her go. No way.

It does make me wonder about our future and what’s to come. Whatever happens, I’m going to make sure that she’s safe, happy, and by my side forever.

The sun sits high in the afternoon sky as we step out to grab lunch. I know her favorite spots to eat from tailing her over the past few weeks. When we pull up to some bistro with outdoor seating, her eyes light up.

“I love this place.”

“I know. I even know your favorite meal here,” I tell her with pride and hope that she doesn’t find it too invasive. The host sits us outside where we can watch people stroll by, but West Cucina isn’t exactly a bustling city.

We order our food and talk about her plans. Well, the lack thereof. We have a rhythm both in the bedroom and out. I never want to disrupt it, but the familiar face of an angry voter looks like they’re about to do just that.
