“Oh fuck!” he whines.
My thrusts turn punishing as I torture his nipples and jerk him until he’s plumping up again. “That’s it, baby. You’ve got another orgasm in there for me.”
His head jerks back and forth as he whines that he can’t. All the while he grows as hard as rock. With me pegging his prostate and my tight fist around his length, it’s only a matter of time before more cum is spewing.
And as his hole tightens with his intense orgasm, I have no choice but to join him. “Fuck yeah, baby.”
I shove myself deep as I unleash everything I’ve got inside of him.
Afterward, I fall on my back, bringing him with me until he’s half sprawled on top of me. My hand moves up and down his back languidly as he smooths his hand up and down my chest.
“I never want to lose this,” he confesses.
“And you never will.” I press a light kiss on his forehead.
We’re both exhausted, so it’s no surprise when we both fall unconscious almost immediately.
The next morning, we stayed in bed until nature called. We shower together, washing the other as we stroke each other to completion.
As we dress, I ask, “Shall we grab croissants at that little brasserie down the road?”
We have a full week here, plenty of time to sightsee. I’m sure Estrella and Sakura won’t even consider leaving their bed until at least tomorrow, so the day is ours.
“Sounds good,” he says idly as he laces up his black chucks.
I chuckle. “I barely recognize you without cowboy boots.”
He snorts. “Don’t get too used to it.”
It’s late enough in the morning that the brasserie isn’t too busy, and before we know it, we’re noshing on chocolate croissants and bittersweet coffee.
“Hot diggity dog, that sure is tasty,” Caleb exclaims after taking half his croissant down in one bite.
My smile is ear to ear because you can take the boy out of Texas, but you’ll never take the Texas out of the boy.
He takes in the sights, as there are many. It gives me the freedom to watch him to my heart’s desire. Always so calm and happy, he makes my heart burst with how beautiful he is inside and out.
With little thought, I sink to my knee. It takes him a moment to notice, but when he does, he jerks to the edge of his seat.
“Beau?”
From my back pocket, I produce a black leather box and open it to show him the simple platinum band. “I never knew happiness like this existed. The more time I have with you, the better it gets, and I never want to let that go. I’ve made you mine in every other way, and now I want to complete that circle. Caleb Lee Danbury, will you honor me by agreeing to be my husband?”
He tried his damndest to blink away his tears, but it’s no use. In an instant, he throws his arms around my neck before kissing the breath right out of me.
He murmurs one word over and over again.
“Yes… yes… yes… yes…”
Epilogue Two
(Two Years After Paris)
My hands shake as I put my car in park. I stare at the rearview mirror at the view of my newest venture. I’ve spent the last few years after high school graduation traveling the country without a single thought as to what in the world I want to do with my future. So, I’ve spent this time alone discovering exactly who I am. I’m still learning, but when I found myself in this quaint town in Texas, I couldn’t help but want to plant a root or two.
When I heard they needed temporary help at the local fire station, I thought it sounded exciting. So, why the hell not?
Which is what brings me to today. To Firehouse 49. I’m more nervous than a cat in a room full of rocking chairs.
