“Correct.”

“But this is alleged. No one really knows the reason Van Gogh cut off his ear.”

I roll my eyes. Leave it to Soleil to correct the answer instead of accepting her win.

“First point is awarded to the single ladies.”

“I’m not a single lady anymore,” Moon announces to the entire bar as if everyone doesn’t already know she and Riley are an item.

“He hasn’t put a ring on it yet,” Sage shouts.

“Which means you’re still a single lady,” Feather adds.

“Since when do you two think a woman has to be married?” Moon asks them.

“Probably since they started a betting pool on the date of the proposal,” I mutter.

“Ahem.” Lennon clears his throat. “Next question. Which famous chef called Jamie Oliver a one-pot wonder igniting a decade long feud?”

Moon jumps to her feet. “I know.”

“You’re supposed to raise your hand,” Ashlyn says.

Moon sticks her tongue out at her friend. “Since when do you follow rules?”

“I’m special. I don’t need to follow rules.”

Moon rolls her eyes but raises her hand as she calls out her answer, “Gordon Ramsey.”

“Correct. Two points for the single ladies.”

“Whoo-hoo! Moonbeam! Moonbeam!” Riley yells and the rest of the Bragg Brothers begin to chant with him.

Lennon taps the microphone. “Settle down. Settle down. Our third question is.” His lips purse as he reads the card. His gaze finds the gossip gals who smile and wave at him. Uh oh. I do not want to know what this card says.

I move to stand but Soleil puts a hand on my shoulder to stop me. “You’re not leaving.”

Crap. I collapse in my chair and scowl at the gossip gals who wink at me. They apparently don’t understand non-verbal communication.

“Which famous couple in Winter Falls used to be enemies but recently became extremely friendly at Juniper and Maverick’s wedding?”

Petal claps. “I love Project Enemy!”

“Foul! Eden Spring will never be famous!” Love Hill screeches.

“Them’s fighting words,” Moon grumbles.

“Sleeping with every man in town doesn’t make you famous either,” I yell back at Love Hill.

“At least I know how to satisfy a man.”

Oh no, she didn’t. I jump to my feet and stomp toward her. I don’t make it there before Miller blocks me.

“Get out of my way. I have a score to settle.”

He grunts and crosses his arms over his chest. I glare at him. I will not be distracted by his sexy biceps.

“You can stop me anytime you want, Miller Bragg,” Love Hill coos. “Unlike other people in this town, I know how to satisfy a man.”
