I wanted him.

Easing off the bed, I hissed through the pain and gathered my things quickly. I stuffed everything in my jacket pocket, composing myself, then hurried from the room before anyone else came in. Several patrons watched me as I beelined for the elevator, but no one tried to stop me. Once I stepped inside, I let myself crumble again.

Maybe he was right.

Maybe he was a monster.

Vincenzo

“We have Jorge,” Massimo’s voice filtered through the line.

“I’ll be there in five.” I hurried out of my place and hopped onto my bike.

The restaurant was closed today, thank god. I wasn’t in any shape to be around people—unless it was to cause pain. I lost control with Red, tearing her flesh like she was another victim of my blade. The look in her eyes would be permanently carved into my memory. I'd put fear into her beautiful green gaze—she'd been afraid of me. I’d never had a sub afraid during or after role play. What I'd done to her… was unforgivable.

I parked, hurried inside Discoteca, and made my way down to the basement. Donny was standing against the wall watching Jorge, who was tied to a chair.

He smirked when he saw me, "Well, you're fucked now, Jorge." Donny pushed off the wall and moved to the opposite side.

I stepped into Jorge's view, his eyes widening with fear. “Where’s Dmitri?”

“Fuck you.”

“You didn’t win Jorge. We found Katya, and she’s safe now. I can’t say the same for you.”

I started toward him, but the door burst open, revealing Matias and Massimo. I watched as a myriad of emotions crossed Matias’ face.

“Control your anger. We still need to know where Dmitri is.” Massimo held onto Matias, halting him in place.

I sneered as I flipped the serrated blade I pulled from my boot. “Tell me, Jorge. Where is he hiding?”

Jorge spat onto the floor, causing Matias to tense. “Look who it is. The boyfriend." The muscles in Matias' neck flexed and tightened as he fought to restrain himself from lashing back. “How’s that pretty little woman? Mmmm… Every time I drove my fist into her, I she cried out for you, making my cock harden with the thrill. But her cries finally stopped when she realized you weren’t coming. It gives me great pleasure knowing I ruined that bitch's cunt for any man who follows behind me.”

I watched as Matias leapt from Massimo's hold. His body hit Jorge with such force, they both fell to the floor in a tangle. The wooden chair splintered beneath Jorge as he laid beneath him, gasping for air. Matias’ fists connected with his face. The sound of bone on bone filled the room as he drew back and repeated his blows. Jorge didn’t stand a chance against Matias’s rage as he pummeled him in quick succession.

“You will never touch anyone again.” Matias grunted as his knuckles connected, tearing into the tender flesh along Jorge’s cheekbone. Matias wrapped his hand around his throat, cutting off the air supply. Jorge clawed at his binds, trying to get his hands free with no luck. “You didn’t break her. She told me to tell you, you didn’t win. You’re just Dmitri’s bitch—a bitch he left behind to die.” Matias applied more pressure. “I want you near death, then I'll stand by and watch as the blade carves into your pathetic flesh. In your weakened state, you won't be able to fight. You’ll be forced to watch as he slices into your body over and over again. You don’t deserve death—it’s too easy. I want you to suffer—no, I need you to suffer. I want you to feel the fear that Katya felt every time you put your hands on her.”

“Matias.” Massimo placed his hand on his shoulder. “That’s enough. Let go.”

Matias came back to himself, realizing Jorge had gone unconscious. “Shit. Did I kill him?”

“No. He passed out. Let’s get him in the chair over here.” Massimo pointed to another chair off to the side. I leaned against the wall, watching them as they dragged him onto the wooden perch. “Wake up.” Massimo backhanded Jorge, rousing him from his unconscious state. “Tell me where Dmitri is.”

Jorge mumbled. “Fuck you.” His body giving out on him from the beating Matias had unleashed.

“Vincenzo.” Massimo turned as he called out to me.

I was already walking toward them, eager to take out the rage I had been trying to contain. “If he doesn’t answer you, kill him. I don’t have time for his pathetic ass. You fucking had my brother. You tried to ruin Matias' woman. I don’t have sympathy for people like you.”

Jorge mumbled between the pained breaths he was taking. “You think I care about death?" He struggled for air. "There is nothing left for me now. Dmitri will kill me anyway.”

I yanked him off the chair and tossed him against the table. Wedging my body against his back, I pressed his head to the surface. “Matias. Do you want this quick, or should I make it last?”

Matias looked at Jorge and grunted. “I don’t care what you do to him. He doesn’t deserve death, but Katya deserves a life free of fear. Do whatever you want. I'm done.”

Massimo nodded his head toward me and then waved Matias toward the door. “You should go home to Katya. This motherfucker is going to get what he deserves, I promise.”
