Slowly, I shuffled out of my now open bedroom. I didn't even get a door anymore. I glanced around. Ronan sat on the couch, a book in his hand. He didn't look up when I came out, didn't come rushing over to me. My stomach twisted, nausea rising in my chest. I hated that.
I turned on my heels and walked to Finnian's room first. After knocking, I heard him call to come in. Finnian laid back in bed, his legs crossed at the ankles as he watched TV. I chewed my lip until he finally glanced up at me.
"Yes, Jack?"
I toyed with the doorknob. "I'm..." I swallowed thickly before I glanced away from him.
"You're what?"
"Sorry," I muttered.
"Jack, look at me."
How could I? All I could imagine was lying over his lap while he spanked me. My face burned.
"Look at me, now," Finnian growled making my head snap up without my consent. "If you're going to say it then say it while you look at me."
I swallowed thickly. My mouth opened, but then shut as I let out the most pathetic sounding whimper. It was hard to say anything when he stared at me with those green eyes. I licked my lips before I forced myself to move forward.
"I'm sorry," I whispered before I cleared my throat. "I'm sorry I didn't listen and made you guys worry. I get it... what I did was stupid. I just didn't want to stay in the house all locked up."
"We all have to do things we don't want to do," he said steadily.
I frowned. "Yeah. I know you don't want to be here watching me. I get it."
Finnian opened his mouth before he shut it again. He shook his head. "Apology accepted. Next time you slip out of this house, I'll track you down and drag you back by your throat."
I shivered. "That's extreme," I muttered.
"Do you need another spanking? What did I say about respect in this house?"
"No," I said as I shook my head. "Sorry."
"That's better," Finnian said before he nodded toward the door. "Go on. You're alright with me, boy."
I lingered, waiting.Where's the good boy?I wanted to hear Finnian say it in that thick accent of his. When he turned toward me, I quickly skittered away. These three men would ruin my brain; that was clear. One after the other, they were turning me into something I tried to hide about myself. It wasn't fair.
"You paying attention?" Cian asked as I crashed into him. He moved back, rubbing his massive chest as he grinned down at me. "Where are you going?"
Cian. I wasn't sure if I wanted to fight him or get on my knees and slide his cock into my mouth. Both options would be fun if he didn't break me first. I glanced over toward the couch. Ronan was still reading, but I could tell he was more than aware of me. I couldn't screw up.
"I was going to talk to you," I muttered.
"About what, princess?" He asked. When I glanced away, he grabbed my chin, forcing me to look at him. "Open that pretty mouth and speak."
A shiver ran down my spine. Heat swept over me from head to toe. A few short words from Cian and I lost my sanity. As I stared up at his tall frame, even taller than my six foot one height, I swallowed hard. He grinned like a shark watching its prey. I wanted to turn tail and run, but I stayed my ground. I was an O'Brien. I couldn't let Cian scare me.
"I'm sorry for leaving the house," I said. "But not for being disrespectful. Not to you. You're an asshole."
Cian's hand went in my hair before I could think straight. His nails dug into my scalp. As he shoved me down, I fought until I was forced onto my knees.
"Ronan!" I called.
"Don't call him," Cian laughed. "He can't help you." He tilted his head at me. "You haven't eaten yet, have you?"
I blinked at him. "N... no."
"Sit right here."
