"You only sleep in your shorts or naked."

I bristled. The fact that Ronan knew that about me tickled something inside of me. I closed my mouth before I leaned forward, resting a hand on his chest.

"Do you look at me in my shorts? Or when I'm naked?" I asked. I licked my lips. "Or do you just want to?"

The look on Ronan's face made me grin. He cleared his throat twice looking anywhere but at me. I loved when he looked like that; embarrassed and anxious like he wanted to run away from me. As my hand traveled down his body, he shivered and stepped back.

"Goodnight," he said shortly.

"Night," I called as he fled down the hallway.

I chuckled to myself after shutting the door. Ronan was nothing if not predictable. I'd been getting under his skin for five years now and he still couldn't handle it. I threw the lock on the door, climbed into bed, and waited. Minutes ticked by until an hour and then another passed, I kept an ear out for the others. They moved around the house, talking to each other here and there, but mostly making rounds, cleaning the kitchen, watching TV. I pulled my phone out.

Sayge: You're in AZ! Fuck yesssss. Wanna come out tonight?

Jack: Fuck yes I'm going nuts. Can you pick me up?

Sayge: Cal can. We were going out dancing anyway. Where you at?

I shot him the address as my heart raced in my chest. The thought of slipping out the house so I could go hang out made every bit of me tingle with excitement. I wasn't used to being locked in the house. Going out, partying, having fun; that was my regular weekend routine. I worked hard during the week, so why not have a little fun on the weekend? Now, I was trapped in a house with three men who wouldn't know fun if it bit them in the asshole.

Jack: Don't come to the house. Meet me around the corner.

Sayge: Oooh someone's sneaking out. Naughty! Sure you can do that?

Jack: I don't give a fuck. Come get me.

Sayge: Lol on the way now. ;)

I nearly hopped out of bed until I remembered I had to be careful. Slowly, I climbed out and glanced around. My lights were already out and had been for a while. I made sure my TV would stay on, the sound low, before I moved over to the window. Every movement I made felt like it was louder than the last. I finally popped the screen out, catching it before it could hit the ground.

"Fuck yeah!" I whispered. I groaned. "What the hell am I going to do without money?"

Finnian. He'd taken a huge amount of cash my father had given him. Even a handful would be more than enough to have some fun for the night. I stood at my door for what felt like ages. I carefully wiped the sweat from my palm onto my jeans. As soon as I was sure no one was out there, I slipped out. Slowly, I walked toward Finnian's room. His door was slightly open, the TV playing. I pushed it open more, but he was nowhere to be seen.

"Cian, we don't need landmines in the front yard," Finnian said.

"That's stupid."

"You're going to blow one of us up!" Finnian snapped.

I peeked toward the front door. They were outside, walking around the front yard with a flashlight as Cian mapped out where landmines could go. I shook my head.

"Psycho."

I moved back into Finnian's room. Going through his things made every hair on the back of my neck stand on end, like he would catch me at any moment. I forced myself to move faster, not to stop, as I dug through his things. The money wasn't in his closet or in the dresser. I moved to the bed and dropped to my knees. I grinned as I spotted the duffel bag. Carefully, I tugged it out and ripped it open. Stacks of cash greeted me. I took a handful, then thought better of it and grabbed another. I shoved the bag back beneath the bed.

As I stepped out of Finnian's room, I made sure the door stayed cracked open. I waited, listening for Cian and Finnian. They were still outside arguing. That was good enough for me. I ran toward my room, slipped inside, and shut the door as quietly as possible before I threw the lock. My heart raced in my chest as I leaned against the door.

I checked my phone.

Sayge: We're almost at your place. You still coming?

Jack: Give me fifteen and I should be there.

Sayge: Don't keep us waiting ;)

I laughed, shaking my head as I read his message. Sayge and his never ending flirting. He always said his Daddy would kill him if he knew he was doing it, but he still did it either way. Sayge was kind of insane. I liked that about him.
