My warning bells started to ring out of control. She walked over to my desk and moved to my side. I remained seated, and she was getting uncomfortably close.

"Amanda, you better not think about it," I warned.

"I love you, Adam," she said as she forced herself onto me. She struggled with me and got too close.

"Would you fucking…?" I was about to hit her when the door opened.

My heart sank as I saw Crystal walk in.

"Oh no, oh no, no, no, no," I shook my head negatively.

"Is she the one? Too bad for her," Amanda sighed, "Sorry, love, but he's already been taken."

"Crystal, wait!" I called.

"Sorry to disturb you," she said. I saw the color in her eyes darken. Her words froze me as she closed the door.

"No!" I yelled and forcefully pushed Amanda off me.

I chased after her and opened the office door, only to run into Catherine.

"What did you do?!" Catherine yelled as she held my collar.

"I didn't…it was...just let me see her," I said as I tried to make her unhand me, but she didn't budge.

"Adam, what was that for?" Amanda asked as she came out of the office.

"I can't believe it…" Catherine muttered.

"Catherine, it's not like that!" I tried to explain.

She let go of my collar and slapped my face.

This was the first time I had seen Catherine look at me with so much disgust.

"You make me sick," she said as she walked past me, "As for you, Amanda, get out of here."

"You don't tell me what to do," Amanda crossed her arms.

"Amanda," I growled as I touched my face where Catherine had hit.

"Did she hurt you?" Amanda cooed, "Let me see."

"Get out," I said.

"Huh?"

"Get out!" I yelled. I lifted my hand to hit her, and she flinched. I gritted my teeth to compose myself.

"I wasn't even the one to hit you," she murmured as she walked past me.

"Crystal," I whispered and made my way to her office.

"You don't want to go in there," Sarah said, stopping me in my tracks.

"Adam!" Amanda called.

"Didn't I tell you to leave?" I asked.
