It all started to come back to me. There was a rainstorm and I was soaked. Adam brought me here and we… we crossed the line.

"Shit!" I cursed as I facepalmed myself.

"Is everything alright?" My aunt asked.

"Everything's perfect, aunty," I replied as I got out of bed and tried to find my things, "I slept at the hospital because of the storm."

"Oh, okay. I was really worried," she sighed.

"Thanks for checking in. I overslept and have some patients to attend to," I said.

"Overslept? It's like thirty minutes until six," she said.

I checked the time and she was right.

"Are you sure you're at the hospital?" She asked.

"Uh sorry, aunty, I can't hear you clearly. Goodbye," I replied hastily and ended the call before she could say anything else.

This was a mess. A huge one this time.

I had slept with my boss.

I mean, sure we were already doing sexual stuff with each other, but why hadn’t he stopped me?

Now I was sure he had gotten what he wanted and would ignore me just like all players did.

It was disappointing, but the ‘no sex’ rule was a law I had put in place to actually take things slow. But… last night, I hadn’t been able to resist at all after seeing what he possessed down there. It was bigger than most of my toys.

"I have to get out of here," I said to myself as I went into his bathroom.

I bathed as quietly as possible then put on the clothes from yesterday. I found them neatly washed, ironed and arranged, set down on his table.

"Strange, I don't remember doing that," I said as I put them on.

My underwear was washed as well.

Could it be?

I shook my head negatively and dressed.

I needed to start over.

And just like I knew he would do to me, I was going to act like nothing had happened between us.

The decision hurt me, but I bore it.

He probably wouldn’t even realize I had left.

As I made my way out of his house, I noticed something. There were no pictures hung anywhere. His awards and recognitions were in his study, but his living room was empty except for some expensive, state-of-the-art equipment.

It was a really lonely house. How could someone have his wealth and contacts and still live like this?

I shook my head, "Don't sympathize with him. Just leave the house."

When I got to the hospital, I was still worried about Adam.

Maybe I should have dropped a note or something.
