"Just humor me for a second," she said.
"Go," Sarah said, "You're not in any way ready to talk to Crystal."
"Fuck," I ran both my hands through my hair before walking up to the wench.
"I want you. One last time," she said.
"You're delusional if you think I'm going to give you that chance," I said.
"I have videos of you. In the nude and a lot more," she said.
"What are you saying?" I asked.
"I'm blackmailing you, Adam Hunt,” She replied.
"I'll pay you whatever you want," I offered.
"I don't want you to give me any money, Adam," she said, "All I want is you and me, back to the way we were before." She stepped a bit closer to me, "What do you say? You can forget about the interruption earlier and everything will be back to normal."
"Go to hell, burn and die a thousand times, Amanda Williams," I replied.
She frowned. "You'll come to your senses. I know you will." She left muttering a lot of things.
I let out a frustrated sigh as I rubbed my face.
That was the end of my perfect day.
And there was nothing I could do.
Fuck.

Broken Hearts Can't Be Healed by Just Anyone
Crystal
When I arrived at the office that day, everything was bright.
It seemed like the day was made extra special for my sake and the sake of those who got to witness it.
I got to witness a lot of funny things too.
As I left the station and made my way to the hospital, I saw a clown handing out balloons to children.
The clown saw me and gave me a white balloon for good luck.
I accepted it and thanked the kind man doing his job.
As I walked into the hospital area, I overheard two security men talking. They noticed me and smiled.
"A white balloon?" one of them asked.
"Is it strange?" I asked and looked up at it.
"No, it isn't," he replied as he stared at the balloon.
"Not as strange as what we saw this morning," the second guard said while chuckling.
