"I'm sure you need the brightening. How are you holding up?" she asked.

Need the brightening?

"Well, people around me have been acting strange," I admitted, "I honestly think it's because I drive a bicycle now."

"You drive a bicycle?" she asked.

"Yeah, that one over there," I pointed at the bike I had parked at the entrance.

"Well, that is strange, but I don't think that's what is causing the problems," she sighed.

"Huh? What do you mean?" I asked.

"It's nothing serious…to me, that is," she said, "You should probably get to the hospital."

"Alright then," I frowned.

It was weird. First the strangers, then Edna. Something was definitely going on, and I was being left out of the loop.

When I arrived at the hospital, I could tell the security men were more focused on me than usual.

Strange.

I parked my bike and went inside. It felt like all the staff turned to look at me at the same time, before minding their businesses.

Stranger.

One of the nurses was struggling to keep her eyes away from me.

"You," I pointed at her, and she jumped.

"Me, sir?" she pointed at herself.

"Yeah, you. Grace, was it?" I asked and she nodded, "Would you mind telling me what's going on?"

"Oh…I uh…" her eyes darted everywhere but to my face, and her cheeks turned a shade of red.

"Never mind," I sighed and made my way to my office.

I stopped at Crystal's to knock and give her the rose I had bought, but maybe it was too soon.

With the weird atmosphere in the hospital, I thought it would be safe to figure out what was going on first before approaching her.

I went into my office, and Catherine was already seated and on her phone.

She looked at me and sighed.

"Judging by how calm you look, I'll take it that you didn't look at the staff group chat yesterday," she said.

"I had the surgery then a minor distraction, so I didn't bother," I said as I brought out my phone.

The notification number was insane.

500+ unread messages.

My Twitter account had lots of notifications as well.

I opened the group chat and saw that I was tagged on a video.
