“This is an epic moment for me Wvelyn, I’m crossing something off my bucket list.”

“Visiting the mayors house was on your bucket list?” I ask and he nods, “totally.”

I laugh at that and shake my head.

“You’re so weird.”

We ring the bell and wait a little.

A little girl opens the door and the first thing I notice is that she has Lucas eyes.

“Are you the people from my daddy’s office?” She asks and I smile at her.

“Yea we are pretty lady, is daddy home?”

I ask and she steps aside for us to come in.

“Daddy’s in the shower” she says and that evoked all sorts of mental images in my head k momentarily space out.

“Earth to Evelyn. You can dream about Lucaynake body some other time.” I elbow him in the ribs and I smile at the girl.

“Okay, we’ll just wait for him here is that okay?”

She nods.

“Uh-huh. Daddy always says I should be kind to guests and offer them drinks, would like some lemonade? LJ and I made them yesterday?”

This girl cannot be more than six and she’s so smart already.

“You did? That’s amazing, yea I would love some of your wonderful lemonade.” She smiles and turns to Ryan.

“Would you like some of my lemons too?”

Ryan smiles and nods.

“Child, I’ve heard so much about this lemonade I just have to have some.

“She giggled and ran towards the fridge. Ryan went with her and opened the fridge up for her.

She showed him where the glass cups were and she poured so much tint spilled over.

“LJ is upstairs, he’s a little shy but my dad says I’m a chatter box” she says as she watches us drink the honestly delicious lemonade.

“This is so good Bianca, you have to teach me how you made it.” I say and she smiles.

“It’s a secret recipe my mom thought me.” My heart immediately goes out to her and I Pat her head.

“You’re so smart.”

Ryan clears his throat and I look up to see Luca standing in the doorway watching me. I immediately feel self conscious but he smiled and makes his way to me.

I see someone walking behind him and I smile at LJ.

“Hi, you must be LJ”

I say and he smiles back shyly.

“It’s Lucas Junior, I looked like my dad so much when I was born my mommy decided to call me LJ.”
