Page 96 of Taming Nikki

“I forgot to say good morning.” Her voice was silky and alluring and she was seriously testing how quickly I could go another round.

I ran my fingers through her hair, sipping her lips. She was like a drug and I couldn’t get enough. I fully intended to test my limits and go again until I heard footsteps up the stairs. I jerked the sheets up over her just before Frankie burst into the room.

“Sorry, sorry, I’m late but–”

“Hi Frankie.”

He froze, his eyes finally looking up from his phone. His jaw dropped, which made her laugh, but pissed me off.

“Nikki?! What are you doing here?”

She pursed her lips, raising her eyebrows. “I’d think it’d be kind of obvious.”

His brows furrowed for a second before he caught her meaning and flushed dark red.

“Frankie, get the fuck out.”

He took off immediately, leaving the door wide open, so we had to call him back to make him close it. Nicole was laughing, good natured, which was an improvement on how she normally woke up. Clearly, orgasms worked better than coffee.

“Does he always just burst in here like that?”

I scowled. “Yes. He almost got shot last time. All of my cousins know to fucking leave me alone except him. Little shit.”

Her laugh pulled me away from the urge to find Frankie and kick his ass. I buried my face against her neck, trailing biting kisses across her shoulder.

She groaned, half heartedly shaking her head. “We can’t. He’ll come back. You know he will.”

“Then I’ll fucking kill him.” I wasn’t that easily deterred, and it didn’t take much to convince her. I pulled her nipple into my mouth and she arched her back on a gasp, her nails running through my hair.

It was a large crash, followed by several people cussing, that drew me away from Nicole. I yanked on a pair of sweats, grabbed my gun, and stormed down the stairs. I could hear her laughter behind me, but it wasn’t fucking funny.

Mikey, Dante, and Frankie all stood wide eyed in the kitchen. The drying rack that had been full before I headed to work last night was on the floor, and the dishes were in pieces. I lifted my furious gaze to the group of idiots, and they all started talking at once, pointing at each other. The only thing that shut them up was Nicole leaning against the railing of the stairs in nothing but one of my shirts. She wiggled her fingers, a smirk on her face when I prowled over to her.

“What are you wearing?”

She shrugged. “You made a mess of my dress. I improvised.”

I couldn’t help the wicked grin that crossed my face. The cum she had been complaining about had gotten on her dress and I didn’t give her a chance to rinse it in the sink like she had wanted. She had been standing there in nothing but a towel and I had taken full advantage.

She rolled her eyes at me, a smile tugging at her lips. “What did they do now?”

Remembering the three idiots in my kitchen, I glared over my shoulder. They were all whispering to each other, their eyes on Nicole, when I moved to face them. When they noticed my scrutiny, they shoved each other, trying to get out the door.

“Freeze!” All three froze at Nicole’s order, and I smirked.

“I don’t care who did it. You are not leaving it for us to clean up. Get moving, assholes.”

They were arguing amongst themselves over who had to clean it up when I turned back to face her.

“Who needs a mafia princess when I have a queen.”

ChapterForty-Four

NIKKI

The weekwithout Leo had been long and exhausting. The week after he asked me to come home with him was significantly better. He had actually refused to go pick up my things because he wanted an excuse to keep me half naked in his clothes. It was hard to argue with the logic when my being half naked also kept him home with me. But he needed to get back to work soon, and so did I.

“Stop arguing. You’re just stalling because you don’t want to face Nino.”
