“Let me?” She smiled and with her eyes never leaving his face, she loosened the bow and let it drop.
His eyes held hers for a moment longer before he looked down. Inhaling deeply, he cupped her breasts with both hands. “Definitely some beading happening here, Miss Annie.”
But talking was fast becoming a problem. Craig bent down and captured one hardened nipple in his mouth, while his hands roamed restlessly down her leg.

Nothing had everfelt so right than holding Annie, worshipping her body. He couldn’t promise her forever, but he could wipe away every negative thing her ex had her believe about herself.
“You are so beautiful,” he whispered, trying to pull her on to his lap.
Gulping in air, she swung her leg over him and straddled him. Her gorgeous breasts were right in front of his eyes. Nearly reverently, he bent down to worship one, then the other, his own desire slowly spiraling out of control.
Only when her flesh was nearly burning his lips, her body pliant, did he lift his head. With unsteady fingers, he fastened her top at the back of her neck again. “I want you, Annie, but not here where your brother can storm in at any minute. If I book a room at the hotel, will you…”
Groaning, Annie stood up. “You ask me now when I can’t think straight?”
Grinning, he also got up. “I love how honest you are about your feelings.”
“I hate dancing around the topic.”
“So is that a yes?”
“I have to think about, okay?”
He pulled her close. “All this thinking, seriously? I can kiss you until you decide?”
“Yeah, you can, but…”
“You feel what you do to me?” He stepped in between her legs.
“The throbbing?” she groaned. “How am I supposed to sleep tonight?”
“See? What you’ve just said. It makes me ache for you, Annie.”
Her hand slid down his body. “Will it help if I touch it?” Her hand stroked his crotch, but he quickly grabbed her fingers.
“If you do that, I’m never leaving here tonight. Walk me out?”
With his blood still roaring in his ears, he took her hand and walked toward the door. She didn’t say anything as they moved down the corridor.
He had to lighten the mood and fast, otherwise he might just pick her up and climb the stairs to her room—the brother be damned. “I’ve had another phone call to ask for help with marketing earlier.”
“As far as I know, there isn’t really someone in town who does that kind of thing, but you’re leaving soon.”
“Doesn’t mean I can’t help. Nowadays, you can work from any place.”
“Of course, you could help them when you’re back in Portland, but wouldn’t you be too busy with your own work?”
Grimacing, he turned toward her. She was so damn beautiful, he had a hard time not bending down and kissing her again. “Problem is, I don’t know if I want to do the work back in Portland anymore.”
Annie raised her brows. “I thought you love your job. According to your aunt and Aiden, you’re the hotshot at the firm.”
“I’ve enjoyed it, but lately… I don’t know. The last account we’ve won, had left a bitter taste in my mouth. Our idea was the better one, but the fact that our competitors lost to us made it impossible for them to continue. They had to close down, everyone there lost their jobs. I struggle not to think about that.”
“You have such a big heart. I can understand how that would upset you.”
A big heart? That wasn’t how he was described back in Portland. There he was the cool and calculated one. And what the hell was he doing telling Annie about his problems? She had enough worries of her own. “Sorry, I didn’t want to burden you with my issues. I’ll pick you up at seven tomorrow night?”
