“Cameras?” Brenna whispered.

“Don’t look around,” Nicole said softly. “We should also not talk in the store just in case they have a microphone on us. Let’s go into the bathroom.”

The three women casually walked into the small bathroom in the back room.

“I’m going to kill him,” Brenna said.

“We might as well dig one big grave so we don’t have to work hard at digging three separate ones,” Simone said.

Nicole snorted. “We’ve got to figure out a way to know for sure they’re spying on us, and then we have to get back at them.”

They heard the back door thrown open.

“Nicole!” Hunter yelled.

“There’s our answer,” Brenna said. “They couldn’t see us and then freaked.”

Nicole grinned before opening the bathroom door. She pretended to look concerned.

“What’s wrong?”

Hunter’s brows snapped together. “What are you all doing in the bathroom?”

“Simone didn’t feel good, so we stayed with her to ensure she was okay. Why? What’s the problem?”

“Nothing. I came to check on you, and you weren’t here.”

“I’m sorry,” Nicole said. She walked over to him, wrapped her arms around his waist, and pressed her cheek to his chest.

“No, you’re fine. That’s all that matters,” Hunter said.

The other two girls came out of the bathroom.

“How do you feel, Simone? Should I go get Blake?” Hunter asked.

Simone shook her head. “No. I was just feeling nauseous. I think I ate too many sugar cookies today.”

Brenna laughed. “I did, too. That lemon frosting we came up with is delicious, and I think people are going to like it.”

“Do you have any more?” Hunter asked.

The girls paused.

Nicole shook her head. “No, they’re all gone. We’ll make some more tomorrow.”

Hunter kissed the side of her head. “Just remember to save me one.”

“Of course.”

“Are you ready to go home?” he asked.

Nicole nodded. “Yes. Let me get my purse and jacket.”

She came back and hugged the women. She whispered to both. “We got them.”

The women smiled.

“We have to stay until Blake or Roman get here,” Hunter said.
