Two Months Later
Bella runs her tongue along my shaft and sighs. We shouldn’t be fucking outside again. We’ve been caught more than once, but it’s sort of our thing now. There’s something about lying on the grass or leaning her up against this brick wall that adds another layer of excitement to an already extremely thrilling act.
My hand digs into her hair and she pumps my cock in her hand, sucking harder.
“Fuck. I could come right here.”
We’re tucked away in the corner behind the tattoo shop. It’s not the most private outdoor space, but we’ve been upping our game lately and it’s been worth it.
Last week, we snuck out after midnight, and I took her behind the library. The raccoons got a good show and so did I. She bounced on my lap in the bed of my truck for nearly thirty minutes.
My face overheats as I think about her tits swinging free in the wind.
“I’m going to come, Bella,” I groan out as the rumble of a bike echoes through the alley.
Bella sighs and slides off my cock with an audible pop. “That’s Gunner. He’s stopping for a tattoo. I should get inside.”
I tuck beneath her skirt and roll my finger over her seam. “I’ve been trying to get youinsideall afternoon.”
She laughs and slaps my stomach playfully. “You’re sick. I have to get to work. Thank you for thelunch. I’ll see you when I get home?”
“I have a meeting with the guys at seven. We’re going to put the baby gear together and discuss the lodge. I’ll have dinner ready, though.”
“Baby gear, already? I’m only six weeks along.”
“I know, but…”
She grins and pokes my chest. “You’re excited! I want pictures of this. A bunch of big dudes fumbling around with cribs and baby swings. I’m here for it.”
“Ha. Ha.” I kiss the top of her head. “I’ll see you when you get home.”
Her sweet little ass tucks into the tattoo shop and I make my way down the alley toward Gunner who’s pulled up and parked right in front. It’s a Sunday and Main Street is dead. Most folks hunker down for family meals and chores on Sundays around here. The tattoo shop is all that’s open.
“Hey, man. What are you doing here?” Gunner stands with wide legs, his arms crossed in front of one another. The past few years have been hard on him. We did some military time together and while I made it out with nightmares, Gunner came home with a few less screws than he left with. For the most part, he functions normally, but he’s got a beast mode now that has been both handy and destructive.
“I was meeting the wife for some lunch. She said you have an appointment for some new ink?”
“Yeah.” He pulls up his sleeve and shows me the spot on his bicep. “She drew me up a bull. I’ve been wanting it for a while. Her drawings are pretty great.”
“She’s booking up fast. I’m proud of her.”
“How are things with her dad? I know it was rough for a while.”
I draw in a deep breath. “Better! He still hates the tattoo thing, but now that he sees she can handle herself, his tune’s changed.”
“Good.” He sighs and I gather there’s more going on.
“What’s wrong?”
He looks away, takes off his hat, and twists it back. “Nothing.”
“Nothing?”
“I can’t say I’m not jealous of you and Kane. It’s nice that this is all working out for y’all, but it’s got me thinking if I could ever get so lucky. I mean, who would want someone who struggles to keep his brain above water all the time?”
“If there’s anything I know, Gunner, is I don’t know shit. I wasn’t expecting a love like Bella after Erica died, yet here I am. I actively pushed everyone away for over a decade.” I grab my buddy by the shoulder. “Just let go of your worry and let shit happen. You may find something better than you ever dreamed.”
“Hey, boys. I have work to do.” Bella’s bright smile peeks through the front door of the shop. “Tell your friend you’ll see him later.”
