I skied over to her. “You almost had it.” Holding out my hand, I pulled her up.

“Aww, look at you talking shit to make me feel better.”

“I speak only the truth.”

“It doesn’t matter anyway. I might be rubbish, but I’m enjoying myself.”

“You’ll improve each time you do it. We’re only on day three.”

“Aren’t you bored, though? Hanging around with me on the nursery slopes?”

“Hanging around with you is the only place I want to be.” I dropped my poles, moving in for a kiss.

“This skiwear isn’t the sexiest.”

I dragged my gaze over her body. “It’s okay. I know what lies beneath. All I have to do is close my eyes.” I closed them. “Ohh, yeah. What a body. Those legs. That ass. Tits that fit my hands perfectly.”

“Kadon!” She palmed my shoulder. I barely felt it through the padding in my jacket.

“What?” I blinked, the picture of innocence.

“You’re insatiable.”

I hooked my leg around the back of her knee. She lost her balance, as I’d intended, and we tumbled to the ground, her on top so I could cushion the blow.

“Kadon. We’re in public.”

“So? Kiss me.”

“What if someone recognizes me? What if they take pictures and sell them to the highest bidder?”

“I’m asking for a kiss, not for you to bounce on my dick. Besides, who cares if they take their stupid pictures? We’re in love. I want the fucking world to know.”

Her lips took mine. Usually, I set the pace, but on this occasion, I forfeited control. The whoosh of passing skiers faded into the background, as did the grind of the ski lift carrying people farther up the mountain. Her tongue slipped inside my mouth, gentle at first, then intense, fierce, needy.Fingers tangled in my hair, tugging on the roots. My body merged into hers. In my mind, the bulky barrier of winter clothing melted away. I could almostfeelher nakedness pressing against mine.

My dick throbbed, blood racing through my veins. I didn’t care that we were lying in the freezing snow surrounded by tourists or that my ass and back were already numb from the icy temperatures. All I cared about was Lee, her weight pressing down on me, her lips hot despite the cold. I inhaled her scent, my heart galloping, the beats rapid, increasing in speed with every sweep of her tongue.

“Get a room!” someone hollered.

Lee faltered, about to pull away. I tightened my arms around her, taking back control, anchoring her head as I ravaged and pillaged and stole her breath. She was giving me everything she had, and it wasn’t enough. Not nearly enough. I yearned to crawl inside her skin and live there for eternity.

“Kadon,” she murmured against my lips.

“Don’t saystop. I’m not ready to stop.”

“People are staring.”

“Let them stare.”

She wriggled against me. Reluctantly, I loosened my grip. She climbed to her feet, holding out a hand for me to hoist myself upright. We gazed into each other’s eyes, our chests heaving, fast at first, then slower.

“My legs are wobbly,” she whispered. “That was some kiss.”

“Get your poles,” I rasped. “Skiing lessons are over for today.”

Her eyes sparkled like the north star on a clear night. “Whatever will we do instead?”

“I’m sure we’ll think of something.”
