Waking up to this delicious man every morning? I’d heard of worse fates.

As he stalked toward me with that promise in his dark eyes, there was really only one answer, logical or not.

When I grinned, he stopped dead in his tracks.

He raised his eyebrows.

I raised mine right back.

Cabot grunted. “Verbal confirmation, Ms. Blake.”

Was I really about to do this?

He resumed stalking toward me, not stopping until I was backed up against my new spanking horse.

Looking up at him, I whispered, “Do I get to keep my new present if I say no?”

He shook his head.

“You don’t play fair.”

Cabot grinned and I melted. “I seem to recall you being quite fond of the way I play.”

“Cocky as usual.”

Hetskedand shook his head slowly. “Turn around.”

Swiftly, I did as I was told, bending over the spanking horse and wiggling my ass for him.

“Hmm.” Instead of touching me like I hoped he would, Cabot walked in a slow circle, assessing me. “I think I’d like to try something new.”

I stood, following him with my eyes as he continued stalking me in a predatory circle. I bit my lip, then couldn’t refrain any longer. “So youdohave a Red Room of Pain.”

Cabot rolled his eyes. “Rylan.”

“What?”

“I want you in my bed.”

A shiver tore down my spine. “Yes, sir.”

“And what do you want?”

“Only you.”

He made a sound of approval, then opened his arms. “Come and get me.”

I sprinted and jumped into his arms, laughing as he held me tightly to him and turned to leave the room. I kissed his neck, making my way up to his earlobe, giggling as he pinched my cheeks, but when I jerked to get away from him, I pressed myself against his hard length and the laughter left my lips in a rush of air.

“Mine.” I squeezed my legs around his hips again to emphasize my point.

Cabot grunted. “Yours.” He claimed my mouth as we entered what I assumed was his bedroom, then stopped when we reached the bed. Carefully, he laid me down on top of it.

I stretched out on plush black and gray fur, nearly mewling at the luxurious feeling of it against my skin.

Cabot gave me the slightest hint of a smile.

“What?” I narrowed my gaze. “You’re being weird.”
