“What’s up?” He said with amusement as Agatha slipped the headphones off and raised her eyes at me.

“Jesus. I thought someone was in here hurting you.” I muttered, holstering my gun beneath my jacket as Kenji chuckled from behind me.

“Nah, just me and G-unit here messing up some kids in England.” Fabian said, chewing on candy from the bowl in front of him.

“G-unit?” I said, staring between the two of them. Agatha shrugged.

“Yeah. Grandma. But cooler.” Fabian said as Agatha nodded. I didn’t know how to react to that and thankfully Agatha gave me the solution when she stood, handing Fabian the controllers.

“Fabian and I were going to go for a walk.” I went to object when she held up a hand, stopping me with a stare.

“We won’t be going alone. Kaito is meeting us.” She stepped closer, putting a hand on my arm.

“We thought you might all want to have a discussion and some alone time without us here. We will be gone for an hour.” She winked before looking at Fabian who rolled his eyes but followed.

“I will pick up some groceries while we are out. Fabian here wanted to do homemade pizza for dinner.” She said Fabian began an animated discussion with her over the differences in tomato paste and sauce.

“Well. I can’t help but feel like a school kid who got caught out wanting to do something naughty.” Kenji said as we watched them go. I snorted, feeling the same way as we made our way back to the lounge room where the others were talking.

“She isn’t wrong though. We could do with a chat about this situation.” I said, gesturing to Luca and Caleb.

“What situation?” Aurora asked as she tucked her feet underneath herself.

“Agatha so graciously decided that we needed time alone to discuss things. Which isn’t wrong. We may all be living together now but we haven’t actually discussed how this is going to work moving forward.” I said, hating that I sounded like the parent in all this.

Aurora sighed, running her hand through her hair as she looked at each of us in turn.

“I suppose this is a bit more complicated than I expected.” Luca rolled his eyes.

“Gorgeous. This is as complicated as you want it to be. You know where I stand. I am in it for the long haul, and I can share. You know I love you and I have every intention of reminding you that every day.” He pulled her towards him for a hug as he looked at me expectantly.

“I am the same. I am not going anywhere. I made my choice a long time ago and I will stay with you for as long as you will have me.” I shrugged, sitting down across from them as Kenji shifted awkwardly.

“I may not be someone you know as well as the others, but I don’t want to go anywhere. I knew I wanted to be with you from the moment I first saw you. I can’t explain it. I also don’t mind sharing. I have found it to be quite the learning experience.” He blushed as he glanced at Luca, and I wondered what had happened between them.

“Caleb?” Luca said, the tension in his voice revealing just how he felt about the man’s answer. We all turned to him, and he swallowed slowly, taking his time to answer.

“This is still new to me and far from what I had ever expected in my life. I still don’t know the way forward; the path is so unclear to me and yet I can say this. The way I feel about you, Aurora, is deeper than anything I have ever known, and I would risk my very soul to have even a part of you in my life.” His voice broke and I felt for him, the man not only was processing an open-style relationship but questioning his entire faith.

“There is one way we can all figure out how to move forward with this and ensure we are all on the same page.” Luca said, the gleam in his eyes giving me a little hint at where his mind was going.

“What do you suggest?” Aurora said and when he looked at me, I knew exactly what he was going to say.

“We take advantage of Agatha’s time she gave us and indulge in a little group bonding.” Luca wagged his eyebrows at her, and she snorted a laugh as Caleb made a choking sound.

Kenji looked intrigued and I had to admit, I kind of thought Luca was right.

“We don’t have to do that. I don’t expect you to all want to be with me at the same time as the others.” Aurora said as Luca sighed, looking at me for help.

“I kind of agree with him. It may not be something that we do all the time but one of the potential problems that can arise from our situation is a lack of communication and understanding that can lead to jealousy. If we are all okay with being with you now, then it only stands to be a stronger connection in the future.” I said, noticing that Kenji was nodding along.

“I kind of wouldn’t mind trying. I am not exactly experienced in this, and it would help me to see how others are with you. I like to learn.” Kenji said as he dropped into the seat next to me.

I hid my smile at his serious look, the kid was determined to treat this like a serious lesson in pleasure. I had to hand it to him, he was taking this better than I expected.

It was Caleb who hesitated, unsurprisingly.

“I don’t know. I haven’t got much experience in this.” He glanced at Kenji who shrugged.
