Page 4 of My Three Roommates

Our heartbeats slow down along with our kiss. Brad brushes some strands of hair away from my face. “I’m going to miss this.”

“Miss what?” I ask him. “Having roommates doesn’t mean we can’t have sex again.”

Brad gets a faraway look in his eyes.“I know, but it won’t be the same.”

I reluctantly climb out of bed, dodging Brad’s grasp as he tries to pull me back in. “Where are you going?”

“I’m getting dressed.” I laugh at him.

The doorbell rings and I hold up my hands. “See? Cody’s back, or Tanner’s here. I’ve got to go let him in. You need to get up too.” I swat at his bare shoulder playfully. “Do you really want your friend to see you like this?”

I stop and take a moment to admire Brad. He’s propped up on a couple of pillows, folding his hands behind his head after he pulls up the sheet. His arms flex and his bare chest looks so damn good. He’s the picture of temptation, especially with the sheet barely grazing over his hip bones.

“Tanner’s seen me naked before. It’s no big deal.”

“He’s probably never seen you like this,” I say, reluctantly tearing my eyes away from him. “You’re way too tempting.”

“Yeah,” Brad says. “Not for Tanner. I don’t have to worry about that.”

I know he’s joking, but the image flashes through my mind anyway. With his tousled hair and satisfied grin, Brad’s a picture of pure sex. I’m having trouble walking away myself, even though I know I need to. He’s so hot, I can imagine even Tanner walking in and not being able to resist him. Not that either one of them swing that way.

Damn, it would be hot if they did.

Of course now I’m imagining what would happen if Cody walked into our bedroom right this minute.

I grin to myself as I tug my skirt on. I love the idea of Cody and Brad naked in bed together. Cocks hard and ready for anything that two guys could come up with.

I shake my head as I finish dressing and hurry to the door. Cody and Brad get along okay but they aren’t super fans of each other.

Too bad.

CHAPTER 3 CODY

“YOU GUYS DON’T have a sofa?”

My arm brushes Kenna’s as I reach for more pizza. Her skin’s so smooth and soft. I make an effort to ignore the effect her body has on mine. “Aren’t you supposed to be settling down now? Don’t all old married couples come with furniture?”

Brad rolls his eyes at me but stays silent. Kenna lifts the pizza box so I can grab another slice. “We’re going to get one soon. It’s the one new thing we can afford to buy for this place. We’ve been too busy to shop. Besides.” She bumps her shoulder into mine. “We weren’t expecting you to show up on our doorstep, Cody.”

“I guess you’re just lucky,” I say. “Maybe I’m not. Where am I sleeping? Got an air mattress or something? These old hardwood floors are gorgeous, but they don’t look very comfortable.”

Kenna glances at Brad. “Do you still have your sleeping bag?

“No.” He shakes his head. “I got rid of a lot of stuff for the move.”

“Maybe you could sleep with Tanner,” Kenna suggests innocently.

“Oh yeah? I wouldn’t mind that.” I leer over in Tanner’s direction. I know that’s not what Kenna means, but Tanner’s a good-looking guy. If we met in a club, I’d take him home without a second thought.

“It’s a pretty big bed. I saw it when the movers carried it in,” Kenna says.

Tanner coughs out an awkward laugh. “Yeah, I don’t think so. I’m not into sharing my bed with a guy.”

I try not to roll my eyes. That’s the one thing I’ve never liked about Tanner. He’s always gotten weird about me openly sleeping with men. He’s the kind of jock type I usually try to avoid. Of course he’s Brad’s friend, now official roommate, and these are desperate times.

“C’mon, man,” I cajole him. “You owe me. I helped you move in.

I hold Tanner’s gaze, daring him to back down. “True. You did.”
