If Audrey found Liam Stuart and the drone before Fox did, Morin was done. Brax would shut him down like a bad date.
Audrey was determined to end Morin’s career. Terminal right now. That’s what she wanted.
Unless he could end Audrey’s career first.
The thought curled the corner of his lip into a snide smile. Nothing would make him happier.
“Steak and fries. Man, that smells great,” the bartender said as he delivered Morin’s food. “Where’d that woman go? She owes me for the martini.”
Morin shrugged as if he had no idea who she was or where she went. Audrey could pay her own damned bar bills.
He picked up the steak knife and glared at the empty black screen on Fox’s silent phone.

Chapter 15
Friday, June 3
Niagara Falls, Ontario, CA
At the twenty-second floor, the family left the elevator and turned in the same direction Kim and Russell were planning to walk.
Kim hung back until the family reached their room and went inside, leaving Kim alone with Russell in the hallway.
Gaspar had said Westwood’s suite number was 2226, which was almost at the end of the corridor. As they walked, Kim reached into her pocket, retrieved a pair of surgical gloves, and pulled them on. Russell did the same.
When they reached the suite, Kim rapped on the door, facing the peephole so Westwood could see her.
No answer. The door stayed closed.
Kim knocked again.
Same result.
She murmured, “What’s he doing in there?”
A key card reader was embedded into a sensor above the lever in the door handle mechanism. She pushed down on the lever. A red light flashed on the sensor to confirm the lock was engaged.
Kim glanced at Russell. He pulled a cell phone-sized black device from his pocket and pressed a few buttons.
A flat circular image appeared on the screen.
He held the screen close to the sensor in the door’s locking mechanism.
A moment later, a green light flashed on the sensor. Russell lowered the lever handle and the lock clicked open.
He pushed the door inward and Kim went inside.
Russell followed Kim, closing the door behind them. He returned the black box to his pocket.
Kim drew her weapon. Russell did the same.
They quickly swept through to clear the three-room suite.
A common room with a small kitchen. Two bedrooms. Two and a half baths. The suite had a spectacular view of the Niagara River, Horseshoe Falls, the US Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls.
When they were sure the suite was unoccupied, they holstered weapons and returned to the common room.
