“Did they convince you?”

I narrowed my eyes, leaning up to nuzzle against his cheek. “You told me I could run from you all I wanted. You’d follow. Did you really expect me not to do the same to you?”

Dex let out a long breath into my neck, a worried yet relieved sound. Umber and Zander started to move again, still gentle, but even those small thrusts had me fluttering my eyes closed as pleasure surged inside me. Kaiden kissed me softly, his lips lingering close. Trembling slightly.

“I can’t ask you to go to war for us.”

“You’re not asking. I’m volunteering. I’m yours.” I kissed him firmly, turning my head to look at Dex. “And you’re mine. I won’t let anyone take you away from me.”

My voice caught on the last word when Umber and Zander sped up, the pair of them deciding to match my ferocious vow with their own. Dex took my lips and kissed me deeply. Fervently. When he pulled back, his eyes were dark and filled with an affection that made my heart stutter. “Anyone?” he asked.

“Anyone.” I kissed him again, my mouth watering when he stood and began to unfasten his pants. “You’re mine.”

The four of them groaned softly. Umber and Zander thrust harder. Dex pulled himself out of his trousers and I greedily took him into my mouth. Kaiden’s hands drifted over my body, touching me so softly I ached. I reached for him, and he kissed my hand before letting me run my fingers down his torso. Letting me feel his skin, and eventually the weight of his length in my hand.

“We are yours,” he grunted softly, wrapping my fingers around his length, then curling his hand over mine. “And no one will take you from us either. Ever. We’re going to win this battle and bring you home.”

“Ravish you each night and fill our manor with your pretty cries,” Dex vowed, his hand cupping the back of my head when I bobbed my head forward and back.

“We’re going to take you hunting in the mountain forests,” Umber promised as he thrust up into me. “Show you the sea in the distance and all the places we could travel to.”

My body tensed, clenching tight when I let myself bask in the warmth of the four of them. The sensation of being so full and so overwhelmed. Zander kissed the back of my neck, then nipped my ear and let me hear his ragged breaths.

“And you’re going to honor us with sons. You’re going to give us warriors so fierce that no one will ever challenge us again. Not when they’d have to contend with our sons and their mother behind them.”

He sank in deep, pressing the full weight of his body against mine. My breath caught, and I moaned around Dex, squeezed around Umber and Zander, and fiercely gripped Kaiden in my fist as they all moved with me. A harmonious chorus of soft moans, slapping skin, and pleasure-filled cries. I felt Umber and Zander’s thrusts stutter, tasted Dex’s seed, and felt Kaiden’s warmth flow over my hand at the same time that I gave up the fight. I stopped waiting, and let climax overtake me. Let the ferocious desire and lust and love I felt for them consume me whole. It was so intense, so powerful I didn’t know if I would survive.

But they held onto me, and I them when their own moans stuttered, and the five of us started to collapse into each other. Umber lay back, pulling me against his chest while Zander curled his body around my back. Dex shifted so his head was beside mine, his lips moving along my shoulders. Kaiden knelt above us all, the leader, one hand still gently stroking my hair as we recovered from the onslaught of pleasure. There was a long silence before any of us spoke.

“I want you beside me, Aria,” Kaiden said softly. “On my horse with your bow in hand.”

I lifted my head to look at him, noting the tension in his eyes. He smiled, then bent to kiss my forehead. “I’m going to need your strength when we ride into that city.”

I pursed my lips, gently sitting up enough that I could lift my hands and cup his handsome face. “You can have my strength anytime you need it. You’re my master.”

Dex, Zander, and Umber all moaned softly, their arms and bodies closing in around me. Kaiden smiled, pressing another kiss to my forehead.

“And you’re our princess. Our warrior.” He bowed his head against mine, closing his eyes when I threaded my fingers into his hair. “Our Aria.”

CHAPTER 34

Aria

“I expected more of a fight from them if I’m honest.”

Esme walked beside me, keeping her pace slow and smiling gently. She wore sandals and a dress that allowed her to feel the grass on her legs, the leaves of the underbrush nuzzling her ankles. After a year of walking the beach, she said she missed the forest.

But she still wanted me to have a glimpse of the sea someday.

“I didn’t,” I commented, looking out in the distance toward where Umber said Micah and the other Elders had gone. “They knew they were losing power; it was only a matter of time. That’s why they made that devil’s bargain to begin with.”

“I’m sure a few people still believe that we’ve made a devil’s bargain,” she joked, and I smiled to myself. They may be right, but I enjoyed my Kavari men’s devilry despite myself.

“It’ll take time, but they’ll see just like you and I did. The Kavari expect submission, but they understand the power of that act. Besides, it’s nice to have someone take control every once in a while.”

“Just once in a while.” Esme’s voice was light and teasing again, and it was a relief to hear. Another week had passed while the Kavari troops readied themselves to march on their home city, and their planning meant I got to spend a fair amount of time with my sister. And my nephew.

Holding that baby was a joy I never thought I’d want to feel for myself, but here I was, looking forward to the day I’d have one of my own. Zander insisted it would be sooner than later, and with the way the four of them ravished me each night I suspected he wasn’t the only one.
