CYRA

After some time, he helps me up and I lean back against the wall, my wrists pinned down with one of Lykan’s hands. His other hand gently runs down my back, stopping when the full shape of my ass lands in his grip. There, he gently squeezes.

The only sounds in the room are the deep panting of our breaths and the pumping of our hearts. It had been two years since anyone had taken me like that, to have used me for both mine and their pleasure. It seems only fitting that Lykan is the one to give it back to me after missing him for what felt like an eternity.

“Fuck…” I whisper as he pulls out of me.

Each inch he removes leaves me internally begging for him to thrust back in. Lykan then comes to rest beside me, leaning his back against the wall. I turn to him as he struggles with pulling his pants back up. From my breast pocket, I remove a handkerchief and offer it to him.

“Thanks,” he says, using the cloth to wipe his forehead.

I recline my head back and take deep breaths in an effort to regain my energy. Small tremor-like waves of pleasure traveled down my legs like an aftershock.

“Gods…” I groan.

I cast a sidelong glance at Lykan, meeting eye contact with him. I’m still in total disbelief at what just happened, and judging from the look on his face, so is he.

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss that,I think to myself. That sex was even angrier than it was back in the Le Lazurt days…

Given the heated discussion Lykan and I had been having right beforehand, that came as no surprise. I pull my panties back up before he offers the cloth back to me. My heart rate finally returns to normal as I stuff it away.

“Well,” I quip. “This talk is certainly going well.”

Lykan scoffs and smiles, turning away perhaps so as to not let me see it. He then grabs two nearby barrels and positions them to face one another. He takes a seat on one and gestures for me to take the other.

“Hold on,” I say, grabbing a bottle of wine from a shelf to my right.

I open it and drink a mouthful, offering it to Lykan before taking my seat. Each of us exchange a look as if to say‘So who’s going to speak first about what just happened?’.I decide to go first, smiling as I do so.

“I’ve got to say… You sure have a lot of pent up energy inside you, even after all this time. It’s almost like you still can’t stand my guts.”

Lykan chuckles and drinks from the bottle, handing it back to me.

“I wouldn’t go so far to say I hate you. Besides, who could with an ass like yours?”

“Jokes aside, I know there’s probably still a lot on your mind,” I say, taking up a serious tone. “We still need to hash all of this out.”

I drink as he begins explaining himself.

“Look,” he sighs. “I’m not going to sugarcoat anything or beat around the bush here. It’s true that I kept as far of a distance as I could have for the last two years, and I’ll be the first to admit that.”

He takes the bottle from me and drinks a large mouthful. I can already see we’ve reached the halfway point of the wine.

“Do you remember when I first came here to see you?” he asks. “It was about two years ago.”

“Yeah, you just showed up one night out of nowhere,” I reply, playing back the vivid memory in my head.

“I had come with the purpose of seeing how you were doing. After you were taken from Le Lazurt, I became worried sick of your fate, so at the very least I just needed confirmation you were okay.”

Worried?I think to myself.Just how much did he think of me during these last two years?

Lykan paused, crossing his brows in deep thought.

“I’ll never forget the moment the door opened, seeing you standing there carrying life in your belly.”

“Why did you leave so hastily that night?” I ask. “You say you wanted to see me but honestly, me being there just seemed like I was an inconvenience to you.”

“For that, I’m sorry,” he pleads. He throws a hand to his heart. “Honest to the gods, I thought those children were the offspring of Nasthyn. That’s why I left almost as quickly as I arrived, the thought was simply too much to bear with the sight of you.”
