“O?” he asks curiously before he groans.

Someone had a bite of a square. I can’t hold in my chuckle as I glance over my shoulder. Orion looks like he’s having an orgasm in his mouth. It makes me wonder what he’d look like when he comes, and I discreetly turn, unable to adjust myself without him noticing.

“Does the nickname bother you?” I ask innocently instead.

“Nope, not if you make treats like this,” Orion says.

Derek walks in, and I can see his brows are raised as I put Lenny’s omelet on a plate.

“Those were some interesting noises, I thought I’d find people fucking,” he laughs.

“Mmm no fucking here, but you have to try this,” Orion insists, holding out half the square.

Derek smirks, taking a bite, which means the rest of it is devoured by him.

“What are these?” Derek asks with a moan, and Orion’s eyes widen as he watches him chew.

“See? That’s why he thought people were fucking,” I tell him, thoroughly amused.

“Damn,” he mutters, reaching out for the plate. “I need to go for a walk, I’ll bring that up to Lennon. Um, those are shortbread squares…”

Orion leaves the room with his sentence trailing off with the plate as I cover my mouth. As soon as he’s gone, I turn off the burner, bending over as I belly laugh.

“That boy has it so fooking bad for you,” I tell Derek, body shaking in mirth.

He finishes his square and smiles at me. “Orion is fucking adorable. I’m trying not to scare him off, but I know he’s more than interested.”

Starting to clean up my aftermath of cooking, I push the plate of shortbread squares at Derek. He gives me a grin, sitting at the counter to tuck into them.

“I don’t know enough about him, other than his confusion of how feelings play out, why would you scare him off?” I ask. “We all try to be sensitive to each other’s needs but can’t be if I don’t know what they are.”

Derek nods, chewing as he thinks. “I don’t want you to make a big deal out of this, because there’s a lot of reasons for it, but Orion is very sexually inexperienced,” he begins.

I stare at him, mid-wipe on the counter.

“Not for nothing, because Lennon was a virgin when Turner and I started dating her, but how inexperienced?” I’ve never heard of a thirty-something year old virgin, but stranger things have happened.

“Orion and I had his first kiss when we were at a pig farm,” Derek says, cheeks heating.

Wow, there’s a lot to unpack there.

I stare at him incredulously before nodding slowly. He scowls slightly at me, and I realize he thinks I’m judging.

“Hold on,” I admonish. “I’m currently processing the pig farm more than anything else.”

Derek snorts, throwing half a pastry at me. I catch it in my mouth, winking at him.

“You know you love it,” I chuckle and he rolls his eyes. “So tell me more, because I have more questions than I know what to do with.”

Watching him as he cuts a piece of soda bread, I pull out some Irish butter. Fuck it, the kitchen is clean enough for now. I’ll do the dishes after I have some bread with him.

“Try it with this, baby,” I tell him, handing him the butter.

Glancing at the label, he looks at me questioningly. “It’s the only way to eat soda bread,” I insist.

Shrugging, he cuts us both a piece of bread and then adds butter. Taking a bite, his eyes close as he moans. I swear, my cock twitches again, and I grunt as I take a bite of my treat.

“Fuck me,” Derek mutters.
