Page 36 of Sebastian

I guess Sebastian wasn’t exaggerating when he said the video was going to go viral.

“Do we need to hire security?” Gavin asks, grabbing the chair next to Donnie and spinning it around to sit on it backward. “Like, are we going to have mobs of fans showing up at our doors?”

My heart sinks. I don’t think we’re going to have a crowd control problem, but it’s not going to be difficult for people to figure out that I work at Mars. Which means Mars’s reputation is going to be affected by all this.

“Shit, I’m sorry.”

Gavin cocks an eyebrow. “Wait, do I really need to hire security? I was joking.”

“No, not the security.” I rub the back of my neck. “I should have run this whole thing by you ahead of time.”

Gavin looks even more confused. “What do you mean?”

“I mean, people are going to know that I work here.”

“Yeah, so?”

“So people will know that you’ve got an employee that does porn.”

Gavin snorts. “News flash, they already know I’ve got an employee that does porn.”

I wave my hand in circles as if that will get Gavin to understand what I mean. “Yeah, but more people will know now.”

“Yeah, and maybe they’ll want to sign up for a membership so they can get one-on-one personal training sessions with the employee who does porn.” Gavin looks pointedly at me. “You know, like the guy who you did the porn with?”

I hang my head forward. Right. I’d forgotten about Sebastian’s free intro session with me. If he hadn’t spotted me out on the floor that day, if he hadn’t specifically requested me for his one-on-one—my stomach twists at the thought—then I’d never have met him or gotten to know him.

Gavin stands and comes over to give me a hearty slap on the shoulder. “Hey, don’t worry about it. Any publicity is good publicity, right?”

“I don’t know about that,” Donnie says, balling up the paper that was around his wrap. “We don’t want to be known for having a mold problem.”

Gavin shrugs. “Okay, fine, but in this case, we’re good.” He gives my shoulder a shake. “Yeah?”

I sigh. “Yeah. Thanks.”

Donnie gives me a quick slap on my shoulder too before the two of them leave. Now I’m alone with my phone and the dozens of messages waiting for me.

Keith: Chris Preacher, you sly dog! Where’ve you been hiding all these years?

Ross: Holy shit, Chris, back with a bang, huh?

Jameson: You back in the game now? Give me a call, I’ve got the perfect project for you.

I respond to a few of the texts from guys I’m more familiar with and ignore the rest. Then I pull up my text thread with Sebastian.

Christian: I guess the video went live this afternoon.

Sebastian: Yeah. I’ve been getting requests for interviews already.

Crap. Would it have been too much to hope that they would hold off for a bit?

Sebastian: How’re you doing?

How am I doing? Fine, I guess. Not like there’s any other option. The video is out there, the damage is done. All I can do is go on with my life and hope I haven’t made a big fucking mistake.

Christian: Fine.

Sebastian: You sure?
