“Hurry, and bye, Coco Rocco’s new dick, hope you like sharing! Don’t get attached, or she’ll spit you out.”

The line clicks.

“Sharing?” Bass glares.

I throw my seat belt off and dash out, but he catches me by the arm, yanking me back.

“Sharing?”

Growling, I lean over and smash my mouth to his and squeeze his junk until he growls, pressing it up into my hand. I massage him, sucking his lips until he pants and then I’m gone.

“That’s for holding back on my reward!”

“I’m gonna punish you, girl!”

“Can’t wait!”

I hear his door open and then he shouts. “I do not share, Rocklin Revenaw!”

I smile brightly, slamming the steel gate and peeking at him through the gaps. “See you later, Bastian Bishop!”

He stares at me over the hood, his teeth sunk deep into his bottom lip, eyes hard and piercing.

I blow him a kiss and then I run. I head down the garden path, straight into the doors of Calder Hall, stopping short as Sai’s red face flashes at the opposite end as he, too, reaches the dividing door. His shoulders visibly relax as he spots me through the glass, but his bunch as he flings the thing open, stepping inside.

“Not funny.” His voice is stern, but he makes sure to keep it controlled.

I level my breathing, ignoring the cramp-like feeling in my chest. “What?”

“Don’t. You can be mad, we can have a conversation, but you do not go off without notifying me. Not now.” It’s a demand from my guard, slash Dad’s old bestie, slash second father figure. Still, he pretends to ask, “Okay?”

“Tell me why.”

His eyes narrow and he looks around, and when he faces me again, he says one word. Or one name, rather. “Boston.”

Awareness prickles and I stare back at him. What he means isEnzo.

So there is danger creeping in from somewhere, but if that’s the case, what’s with his disappearing act?

Understanding this isn’t the place to talk about it, I don’t push. I’m not even sure which questions I need to ask yet anyway, so I stay silent.

“Can I take you home now?” He frowns, stepping aside with his hand swept out.

I lead us to the car where the others wait. I meet Dom’s gaze as I step out of the building, and he nods his chin.

I nod back, glancing from him to Delta’s boyfriends, to the Greco brothers, before sliding into the back seat with my girls.

Sai and I will talk, but first … time to spill the juice on my “new dick.”

Delta tightens her robe, and we drop into the seats on Bronx’s balcony, glancing down at the boys wrestling on the platform sixty yards away.

“They’re getting better,” I note, also watching Kenex and Kylo’s match. “Faster.”

“Kenex beat Alto in a firing contest this week.”

I nod. That’s good. Something I’ll store for later in case my dad decides to try and get us to kick them out. Again.

“But they did corner Sasha yesterday,” Delta shares. “Not sure what they said, but she was as red as a tomato when she walked away, so it was definitely on the naughty side.”
