“Please, Noah. I want you.”

I lean over and kiss her hotly before placing my hands on her pelvis and directing her until she’s standing. Addison watches me, confused, until I give her my next instructions.

“Come on, love. Bend over,” I turn her around and place my hand between her shoulder blades, applying a bit of downward pressure. She catches on and leans over the mattress, sticking her perfect ass out toward me. I kick my foot between her legs. “Spread your legs for me.”

She does as I ask, and when she’s spread out gloriously for me, I position myself at her entrance and slide home. She cries out in ecstasy at the feeling of me between her slick folds. I groan at how she clenches against me, the contractions still present from her last orgasm.

“God, Parks,” I groan, curling my body over her back and pressing my face into her neck. “You’re perfect, sweetheart.”

“Noah, faster, please,” she mewls beneath me, wiggling her ass back and pushing me deeper inside her.

I start moving then, thrusting in and out into her wet heat. Addison thrusts back against me, taking her pleasure from me. I feel her inner walls flutter against my cock, telling me she is quickly climbing toward her peak.

With my free hand, I reach around her front and find her clit. I rapidly circle the sensitive spot with two fingers, leading her closer and closer to her climax. “That’s a good girl,” I tell her, and she moans at the praise. “Are you gonna come again for me?”

“Yes!” she shouts and thrusts back against me harder.

“That’s it,” I praise her again. “Come for me, Addison.” At the sound of her name on my lips, she shutters against me, exploding all over my cock.

The sensation of her squeezing the life out of me, I quickly come after her, spilling deep inside her. I collapse against her, breathing deeply as I come down from my high. She wiggles underneath me, and I push up off of her, our sweaty skin sticking together.

As soon as I pull out of her, Addison rolls over until we face each other. My chest tightens at the sight of her like this. Her cheeks are flushed bright red, her lower lip plump and swollen from where she was likely biting it.

I run my hand over her forehead, catching stray strands damp with sweat and pushing them out of her face. Her chest rises and falls from the exertion as she runs her hands down my pecs and abdomen.

“You were perfect,” I whisper, and she preens again at the words of encouragement.

“So were you,” she teases back, and I chuckle. I step away from her and walk to the side of the bed, pulling back the covers.

When I return to her, I sweep her up in my arms and tuck us both under the sheets. Addison curls into my side, pressing her body against mine languidly. I press a kiss against her forehead, taking in her musky scent of sweat and sex. I’m not sure I’ve smelled anything better.

She yawns and nuzzles her cheek against my chest. I wrap my arm around her hips and hold onto her tightly. “I love you, Noah,” she whispers into my skin.

I smile to myself, loving that I get to be the man who gets to experience these moments with her. I want every high and every low with her. I know things are still up in the air, but as I hold her tightly to me and listen to her breathing even out, I can’t help but feel like forever with her might not be that far away.

Chapter 46

Addison

It feels like no time has passed when we leave Noah’s mother’s home to return to Willow Heights. I know Noah isn’t super happy with the idea of us going back to where his father is still at large, but he’s been gracious and understanding that this is something I won’t concede. I’m not going to stop living my life just because he’s worried something will happen. I can’t live that way, and I won’t.

As we pull away from the small house, Catherine and Trish stand on the front porch waving at us. I feel my heart tighten as I wave back. Though my time with her was short, getting to spend time with Catherine again filled something I didn’t know I was missing, and it hurts having to say goodbye.

The drive back to Willow Heights is just as quiet as the one leaving it the other day. I’m lost in my thoughts, thinking about everything that Noah and I discussed over the last few days. He gave me lots to ponder.

His words echo in my mind:I fully intend to marry you one day, Addison Parks.

I replay them over and over, paying close attention to every little thought that comes after and mentally working through how the idea of being married to Noah makes me feel.

In conclusion, amazing, though there is still so much that we have to work through and consider. I don’t know how things will go with his father, but I know that Noah will do everything in his power to bring him to justice. Maybe then we can talk more about the possibility of marriage. There’s really nothing I want more than to call Noah my husband and to be his wife.

As soon as we arrive home, we fall back into our little routine. Noah spends most of his time working and getting reading for his meeting next week. I get back to business, running my diner and juggling everything involved with running an entire staff and a successful restaurant.

Our time at Noah’s mother’s almost disappears into the back of our thoughts. At the same time, I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to stop thinking about Catherine and the work she’s doing out there.

Before we know it, the rest of the week flies by, and Noah’s meeting is just around the corner.

“Hey, come here for a second,” Noah mumbles in my ear the morning of. I look up at him with an eyebrow raised but take his outstretched hand, letting him lead me away from the counter and toward the storeroom. Traffic in the diner is starting to pick up with the breakfast rush, so I hope whatever Noah needs to talk to me about is quick.
