“How is going to a museumso exhausting?” Juno says, propping her feet up.
“Well, we had to spend half our time looking for Keene,” Declan says.
Keene shrugs. “It all looked the same.”
“Anyone want to paint with me?” Maggie’s stands at the door and nudges her head toward the garden.
“Me!” Juno jumps up.
“I’ve got Ian.” Declan walks up to Maggie and gives her a kiss. “Next time.”
He starts to walk away, but she grabs his shirt and pulls him in for another kiss.
“Boo!” Keene says.
“Gross. Get a room,” Eli calls.
Declan pulls back. “You’re just jealous.”
Juno walks over and pats his back. “We are. Don’t rub it in our faces.”
“Maybe it was better when they were sneaking around?” Eli mutters.
Declan points at him. “Well, we weren’t great at that, were we? You were always catching us.”
“I never caught them, but I knew something was going on,” Juno says.
“Maybe you go to bed too early?” Eli says.
Juno shrugs.
Keene stretches his arms overhead and then says, “They can make out in front of us all they want. I’m perfectly happy with my single status.”
Declan points at Keene this time and says, “You just don’t know what you’re missing.”
Keene snorts.
“He’s right,” Kip says as he walks through the room, holding a diaper.
“Is that a poopy diaper?” Eli asks.
