“More fabric, maybe?”

She laughed.

“Now, let’s go over the rules for tonight,” Jake said.

God, they were going to drive her crazy. The four had a dumb meeting about where she’d be and with who tonight.

“Macy just went over it with me,” she said.

Jake nodded. “Okay, good.”

The door opened, and Caden walked in. “You’re going to let her wear that?” he asked when he saw her.

Macy nodded. “I know. I’m not thrilled with it.”

“Couldn’t she wear a cape over it?”

She was about ready to speak up, but Macy interrupted.

“No, we need to let her do this. She’ll be with one of us all night.”

Caden nodded. “That’s true. Should we go over the rules for tonight?”

“They just did, but we might have to remind her a few times,” Jake said.

The door opened again, and Link came through. She knew what he would say when his eyes roamed over her, and then he frowned.

Jake raised his hand. “We’ve been over it already.”

“But, hell. People can see her nipples if they really look hard.”

She looked up at Macy and then squeezed him. “Tell them it’s okay.”

Macy cleared his throat. “I’m letting her wear this because she feels beautiful in it.”

The three other men spoke up about why she would feel beautiful in anything. One said she’d be beautiful in a sack, and she thought that was sweet.

“Shouldn’t we go, guys?” she asked.

She was trying to get their minds off of her.

“Yeah, we need to get downstairs, but first, let’s talk about the sub lounge…” Link started.

She scowled up at Macy. “Do something.”

Macy sighed and raised a hand. “We’ve been over it a few times.”

She snorted. “A few?”

“It’s just because we worry about you, honey,” Caden said.

“I know.” And it was sweet that all four men cared so much.

“We better go,” Jake said. Macy led her forward when Jake stopped her with a hand on her forehead. “I think she has a fever.”

“I was thinking that…” Link said.

She refused to listen and raced ahead to stand by the elevator.
