Cat exhaled and let Janessa lead her away. He stayed still so she could see him because she kept looking back at him.

When he saw her smiling and petting the puppy, he walked over to the guys but made sure to stand where Cat could see him, and he could keep her in his line of sight.

Cat came to him several times and just hugged him. He’d pull her tight against him and kiss her temple and even her lips a few times. She’d always thank him when she was ready to return to the women. This would have shoved him over if she didn’t already have his heart. Since his feelings for her were already deep, they just intensified even more.

“Hey.”

Macy turned to see Daniel. They shook hands. “I’m glad you could make it.”

They both looked over at Cat, and he smiled.

“She’s doing well,” Daniel said. “I’ve been standing back watching her. I like that when she gets insecure and goes right to you.”

“Hell, yeah. I told her if I saw she was struggling and didn’t come to me, I’d redden her ass.”

“What did she say to that?” Daniel asked.

“She giggled and then promised.”

Daniel grinned. “So, you’re saying she has you tied around her little finger already?”

Macy snorted. “Without a doubt.”

Daniel laughed.

Macy watched as Cat walked to him. He could tell she was more relaxed with time but still needed her Dom’s attention. He wrapped his arm around her when she pressed up to him.

“Baby, you remember Daniel?”

She nodded and smiled. “Of course. He was very nice to me when I got here.”

“You look happy, honey. Is everything going well?” Daniel asked.

Cat looked up at Macy and smiled. “I think so.”

Macy pressed a kiss to her forehead. “It’s going better than well.”

She nodded and relaxed against him while he and Daniel talked and drank beer. Someone called her name, and she looked up at him.

“Go and see what they want. I’ll be right here and have my eyes on you.”

She squeezed him and then turned to Daniel. “It was very nice to see you.”

“You, too. We’ll see each other again.”

She nodded and then walked off.

The clearing of a throat caught his attention, and he turned back to Daniel to see his grin.

“Man, you got it bad.”

Macy didn’t care in the least. He was just happy he’d found someone that fit him so well. With time, she would come to trust him, and then he’d move them toward a more intimate touching, but he was in no hurry. Everything would happen when she was ready, and he wouldn’t push her.

“Yeah, I do, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.”

Daniel slapped his shoulder. “You’re a lucky man.”

“I already knew that.”
