Leah takes Hannah’s hand. “Come inside. I can’t wait to show you around.”
I grab our bags and join them as three men step onto the porch above us.
The girls skip up the steps and run toward the front door.
Amy’s Daddy, Foster, snags her arm as she’s whizzing by him. “Slow down there, Amelia. I know you’re excited, but there are still rules.” He lifts her right off the ground, holding her around the waist, letting her feet dangle.
“I’ll be good, Daddy. I promise.”
Craig has a hand on Leah’s shoulder. “Ditto what Foster said.”
“Same goes for you, Giana,” Kendric states, brows drawn in warning.
My heart soars. This is the best of age play. Communities where everyone can play in their favorite space without fear of judgment. Blossom Ridge was a genius idea. I’ll have to thank Roman personally when I see him.
“No running,” Craig calls out when he releases Leah.
“Manners,” Kendric adds.
Foster is still holding Amy in the air, effortlessly even though she’s squirming. “Daddy, put me down.”
He narrows his gaze. “How about something a bit more polite, naughty girl.”
She sighs. “May I please go play with the other girls, Daddy?”
“That’s better.” He sets her down and pats her bottom as she scurries into the house.
Craig reaches out a hand toward me. “Welcome to Blossom Ridge.”
“Thank you so much for having us and for bending over backward to ensure Hannah doesn’t have to engage with strangers. Even bringing her here was a stretch. She knows everyone, but she was still uncomfortable with the idea of being Little in front of others outside of Surrender.”
Foster nods. “Well, Blossom Ridge is an extension of Surrender in many ways. The only difference is that it doesn’t close at the end of the night. Hopefully Hannah will be able to relax and enjoy herself.”
I’ve only met Foster a few times in passing. He’s not a regular attendee of Surrender. He’s been living here at The Ridge for years.
Craig nods toward the door. “Come on inside. I’ll show you to your room.”
“You’re across the hall from us for the week,” Kendric says. “We’ll have to lock the girls in from the outside unless we want them to sneak out and turn every night into a slumber party.”
I glance at him and chuckle. “Do you sleep so soundly Giana manages to escape you in the night?”
Craig laughs. “You’ll see what he means. The rooms are in suites upstairs. Most of them have a Daddy’s room attached to a Littles room with a shared bathroom. Technically, the Littles can sneak out of their room at night.”
I grin as I follow the rest of them up the majestic staircase that leads to the second floor. I’m looking all around, taking in the amazing architecture. “Oh, I’d like to see her try.”
Craig glances back. “Leah’s bottom would be too sore to sit on for days if she pulled that stunt, but it happens from time to time. The Littles get so excited when they’re visiting The Ridge they tend to get comfortable and more mischievous than usual.”
“I hadn’t thought of putting Hannah in a different room than mine,” I admit. Last night is the first night I’ve ever slept in her bed, but I don’t have any intention of sleeping without her again in the near future, if ever. The thought makes me cringe.
Foster grunts. “I don’t let Amelia out of my bed either. She does have her own room in our cabin, but she uses it for a playroom and naps. At night I keep her close.”
Glad I’m not the only one who feels that way.
“Admittedly that’s usually the case for Giana too. Besides, I’d hear the floorboard squeaking in a heartbeat if she got out of bed.”
“Especially in this old house,” Craig points out. He stops at a door on the long hallway of rooms and pushes it open.
I step inside. It’s perfect. King-sized bed, masculine colors, mahogany furniture.
