“You are a shining gem, my dear spark,” Geraint replied, hugging me closely, though avoiding my hair and makeup. He winked. “Change for me.”

Our last act was more of a BDSM display in the silks, our costumes black and our silks red. My leotard gave the illusion of straps all over my body. Geraint’s outfit was all black with some flesh-colored panels and gave the illusion that he wore a collar at his neck while still protecting him from potential silk burns.

Happy to show off for my knight, I shifted my stance, swaying slightly to the music that filtered in from the performers now on stage. Sliding my hands up my body, I brushed them playfully over my small breasts, before hooking my fingers in the top and sliding it off one shoulder.

The heat in Geraint’s eyes spurred me on, dampening my pussy and making me eager for the night to be over. I loved performing, but Geraint’s attention to my body was another favorite thing of mine.

He darted his tongue out, licking his lips as I carefully slid the leotard off. The music accompanied my slow, sensual movements perfectly and, for a moment, I let the rhythm of the song take me away from the present. Fabric whispered against my skin as I folded in half then continued to push the costume down my legs, butt now up in the air and on display.

“You are lovely, my spark,” Geraint rumbled.

I straightened in time to see him stalk toward me, a hungry, almost feral look in his stormy gray eyes that I absolutely loved anytime I could provoke it. My knight was usually so controlled.

We needed to keep moving and warmed up for our next act. A quicky was movement, right?

He seemed to be on the same wavelength, a smile playing at his lips, hands dropping to his waist to push his own costume off. I was well familiar with the pleasure that bulge in his pants could bring me. The anticipation of him freeing himself from his costume so he could cage himself inside me had me instantly wet.

A sharp rap on our door startled both of us.

“Twenty minutes, you two,” Robby ordered. “Get dressed and get out here.”

Geraint licked his lips again, and I could see thoughts of disobedience flickering in his eyes. I grinned and thrust my chest out enticingly.

“Now!”

“Damn it,” my knight muttered, accent thickening with his displeasure.

“We’re almost dressed,” I called, unable to keep a sharp note of annoyance out of my voice.

“Sure you are,” Robby replied. The likelihood that he realized what he was interrupting was very high. He knew us all too well.

“Probably for the best,” I muttered so he wouldn’t hear.

Geraint’s hungry grin turned playful. “Probably,” he agreed with me. “We’ll just have to pick up where we left off tonight.”

“Promise?”

“Anything for you, my spark,” he replied.

I grinned and, after a moment to admire his muscular frame, I set about getting ready for our next performance. A quick drink, a half an energy bar, and my next costume. Geraint did the same, though he ate all his energy bar. I’d dive into the food later, but between acts I tried to keep it light. Just enough to keep my energy up.

Robby had confiscated my chocolate-covered expresso beans, saying if I needed to snack, I should snack on something better for myself. He was probably right, otherwise I’d live on the things. Next contract, I’d come up with a secret stash.

We touched up each other’s makeup, studied our costumes to make sure everything was in place, and headed back out into the hallway to get our rosin and pointedly ignore Robby. He followed us, a smug grin on his face. The man was worth his weight in gold, but sometimes I wanted to strangle him. Like right now, when a quickie would have been just the thing to keep me going through our silks performance.

Casey hurried past us, poi dangling from her hands and a radiant smile on her face. “See you two at the after-party?”

“Yeah, Casey, wouldn’t miss it,” I said. It was the end of the show season for us. As much as I wanted to get laid, I had been working with these people for the last six months and I wanted a chance to say goodbye. In most cases, I’d work with them again soon, but some I might not see for years outside of social media, and it was important to say a proper farewell for now. Besides, I was never one to skip a party if I didn’t have to.

We both did a little stretching, keeping our muscles warm while we waited for our turn.

When the announcer called for me and Geraint, we grinned at each other and headed out for our last act of the season with the cabaret.

I had a nice, comfortable buzz going when Casey, and Phillip, one of the contortionists, stood up and raised their glasses.

“Here’s to a fantastic season together. I know some of you are staying on, and some of us are moving to new gigs. I just wanted to say I love each and every one of you, and I hope to work with you all again soon.” Casey laughed. “I can’t always say that at the end of a contract, but I truly mean it. You are all fantastic.”
